The best spooky, gothic coffee shop. The atmosphere and vibe alone in this space is enough to make me go almost everyday they’re open. Such a nice addition to downtown monroe, I don’t drink coffee and they have so many good options. Whether taking to go or sitting in to chill and do homework, this is my favorite spot. The Chi Tea Latte is my absolute favorite. Can’t say enough good things about this place and its owners!

I highly recommend visiting Monroe, even if it’s just to come to Nocturnal. It’s that good.From the moment you step inside the doors, you feel its uniqueness. The decor, carefully crafted menu and the amazing staff provide an experience unlike anything I’ve ever had at a coffee shop. There are events like live music nights and a silent book club as well as drink specials and monthly menus, that keep customers coming back for more. The owners spent a lot of time perfecting the inside and outside of the building as well as Nocturnal’s offerings and you can definitely tell. There’s just no place like it and it’s definitely worth a visit!

I ordered a delicious vanilla bean latté that I enjoyed to the sounds of my chemical romance and brand new. 10/10 the only thing missing is a black cat that talks about world domination.
