I've eaten here twice during my visits to Monroe, for breakfast and for dinner. The food was classic diner fare, and on each occasion was plentiful and good. Recommended, despite the one-star reduction for the tight seating.

Solid coney. Perfect service. Homemade mashed potatoes. Fried chicken hand breaded, light and flakey. "Grinder" is tons of meat cheese and veggies in a huge square of bakery quality (possibly made in house) bread that more closely resembles deep dish pizza than a sub roll; it's insane.
Right up the street from the state park. Am definitely coming back.
