The root beer is delicious but the food is low grade. I'm not even sure it's GFS. The burger got thrown away half finished and left me needing meds to avoid gastric upset. The smoked pork bbq had no flavor except sugary sauce.

The food here is not that good you can get it better at McDonalds and its cheaper. The customer service was really good, they are really kind, just wouldn’t recommend the food :(

Food is pretty gross. Chili on the hot dog was terrible. The burger was paper thin and the kids serving couldn’t care less about their job.

If I was local I would visit regularly. I hope to return someday. The root beer and corn dog were particularly good. The onion rings are just what we wanted. Everything else was better than average.

Update your google website times/days. People tend to drive some distance for restaurants like this. Not fun to show up to a place that says open to find it really isn’t.

This was a gem to find. Even Street side we had no issues getting in and out. Everything was delicious and the lady that helped us was super nice.

Not the Dog n Suds that we remember. Grandson said the chicken nuggets tasted bad. $47 for crappy food for 2 adults and 2 kids.

Could not even get the order right, ordered a double bacon cheeseburger with no mustard and got a normal cheese burger, and let alone putting my hot dog in upside down so you go to grab it and it falls out, and not even getting the ingredients correct. Wow what a waste of 30 dollars, would not recommend

I would like to say that the girl with the pink and blonde hair gave us great service. She was very polite and professional. When she brought out our food to the table as she walked away there was another couple sitting at the table beside us and said how sweet of a girl that she was. The bad thing about this resturant is that you can tell they are understaffed by the wait time for the food, and can tell it is mainly highschool students that work there. I would have to say the staff works the best they can for what they are given. Keep up the good work staff of montague.

Update:Tried again in June, 2025, I've been a Taxas Burger fan for over 50 years, but since they changed the buns and the burgers, It's just not the same. PLEASE go back to the beef & buns that made Dog N' Suds famous.

Still a Dog n' Suds fan. Love the Coney dogs & onion Rings. After sitting idle for a while at the Montague location, I was excited to see they sold and reopened right down the road. Love the dogs & burgers, but I had to remove stars, because they changed the buns and burger that made the Texas Burger famous, You should never change perfection in my mind.

Of course I will still come back for the Coney Dogs, Rootbeer floats and fast, friendly service. and I still recommend it to others. Hopefully enough others have mentioned the Texas burger change to bring it back to the original taste.
