I get it, this place has great tradition and the people who live around here or summer here think this place is the cat's meow. But if you take your blinders off you'll realize the food pretty much sucks and the mixed drinks are very poorly made. Was a one and done for me. Never need to return. If you are from Chicago - make sure you lower your expectations. This is Michigan! They are known for trees, not good food.

We ordered the perch, the serloin, and the chicken Alfredo. The perch was fine but the serloin was absolutely flavorless same with the Alfredo. Very over priced for quality of the food. Would not go again. Update one member of our party ended up sick on the toilet after we got home

This is a great north woods style supper club. They have great cocktails and all the food options are great. We usually come for dinner but they have lunch options on weekends.
We love the burgers and also the seafood is great. Get the perch or fish tacos! For appetizers the queso and pretzels are delicious. The margaritas are great too.

Drove 25 minutes to have dinner here because everyone in town says this is THE spot. I didn’t get the chance to find out. I brought a family member while they were visiting and we were seated for 20 minutes without anyone taking our drink order. No one would make eye contact, no one said a word. From what I heard, the table next to us was having issues too. Save your time (and gas) and go anywhere else.

We enjoyed a visit to this Jewel, this classic Lake home spory lodge restaurant. It has been here since it opened in 1900. Classy and cozy....we truly had a wonderful staff member, wait on us, Brittany, she is so engaging and efficient, charming 😀 too! The best Anniversary dinner 🍽 place..romantic and beautiful.
I've lived in Montague for 5 years and finally tried Old Channel Inn this year, and I'm upset I didn't try it sooner. The service is outstanding and the food is delicious. I can't wait to go back!

Drove from Grand Rapids with extremely Hangry kids so mad at the distance to go eat. When we left we already made plans for another trip. Incredible food....incredible service....and an atmosphere that is impossible to replicate. GO TO THIS PLACE!!! You will not regret it.
