Perch and onion rings were awesome! We will definitely be back.
The waitress was amazing! On the other hand, the food was okay. Perch sandwich was great, but the rest was just okay. I will say. It stinks. My drink tasted/smelled odd, even after trying several. I went to the bathroom and the egg smell was overwhelming. I did mention this to the waitress and she said many people had complained about the smell of their water. ? Won’t be retuning simply due to this.
Traveling with my family and found this little gem, super cute little spot clean with excellent service and food. The prices were wonderful especially for the food quality the only thing we didn't enjoy was the seared Ahi tuna- which was cooked all the way through so more like canned tuna this dish should be lightly seared on both sides with a nice pink juicy center hopefully they work on this because everything else was phenomenal chicken strips and onion rings were homemade and delicious, chicken sandwich was juicy and good flavor the side salads were beautiful with great tasting homemade croutons and ranch the clams and fish were fantastic and our waitress was sweet and attentive despite being super busy. Overall give this place a 9.5/10 will definitely be back.
Kid-friendliness: Decent kids menu
Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp access on side
The server was nice. The name suggested a place that offered well prepared walleye, but it is essentially a dive bar. The walleye was deep fried, unseasoned, and generally lacked flavor. Tartar sauce was unpleasant, and when I asked for lemon wedges, i got lemon slices used for garnishing cocktails. It is difficult to squeeze a slice. This place is an okay dive bar with friendly people. Not a place for walleye.
We were in town on a Monday night looking for a place to have dinner. This was the only open restaurant we could find. The menu is varied with a lot of choices, the prices are very reasonable and portions are ample. We ordered smelt and lemon butter walleye. We also had deep fried green beans, that were awesome. Brigett was our server and she is amazing. She has a great personality and was efficient and checked on us without being intrusive. This restaurant is definitely worth visiting. I would absolutely return if we are in this area again.
My favorite place food is awesome seems like no short cuts on quality servers are great
We went here is September on a Friday night...the place was NOT busy. After sitting there for over 20 minutes with owner/manaer? staring at us from behind the bar, we got up and left and went to Oh Brothers.
Service was responsive and polite and the tacos were great. No noticable smell of anything other than food.
We had Shrimp dinner, Walleye dinner , Chicken finger, dinner it was very good , We all agreed it was great food and service and would eat there again !
They only got a 4 for some of the situations. The Online websirw said at 10 got there and they said well we're closing at 9:30 it was 9 o'clock upon getting in there it was very musty smelling enough that someone in our party that had asthma could not set in there But the food was awesome the Burger was the juiciest I've ever had Chili cheese fries were fantastic. I the special was a sirloin steak and 2 sides for 13.99 was the best steak that I had had in such a long time it was cooked perfectly and seasoned perfectly. The clam strips were perfectly Cooked and battered. The chicken tenders were home battered. The service is definitely what lacked there and its sad. They acted like an Inconvenience for us to be there. We had to keep asking for the refills. We watched them pretty much turn someone away 20 mins before close..if I was the owner I'd be so mad. Because the food was fantastic just the wait staff made it hard to be there because how much they made it feel like a rush. I dunno I really wish we would of been able to have the patio and not feel rushed because the food was awesome!

The restaurant is kid friendly. It is a neighborhood bar with a great chef in the kitchen. Beer selection is limited. The usual macro brews on tap and most called micro brews in bottles. The onion rings are terrific and the walleye is perfect.
Nice outdoor deck, walleye was excellent. Nice, friendly servers. Prompt service. Indoors didnt look as nice of outside.
Service and food very good. Night we were there, no pork entrees or fish tacos-supplier shortages.
Came in late one server made it clear they closed " soon " it was 9 the are open until 10 but today there closing at 9:30.... our server was just fine though, she was happy to make a little extra money at the end of the night. When we first walked in we were hit in the face with a smell of mold/mildew but it was the only place we could find open. So full send !! We put in our order all went well the whole time I was there I was coughing up a storm so I asked for a box and went outside. I instantly felt better. Before going outside a couple women came in at 924 and were instantly met by the server that was read to go home and they were told we are closed. The cook poked his head out and said no we will cook for them. But at that time the women were already over it and left. P.s. all the food that I had was great and the family was very happy with the food. But closing early is not cool and clean that place !!
We thought we would try this place while traveling. We are so glad we did. Food was fabulous. And prices very reasonable. I had the Cajun walleye which was served on a bed of poblano creamed corn. Delicious and the quality was sublime. Great flavor. My husband had the fried perch which was delicious. The fish may have been just a little over fried but still good. The dinners are served with your choice of two sides. And there are great choices. We had the salads, which were a nice blend of spinach and greens, croutons, tomato, onion and cheese and I had the house made ranch which was exceptional. Other sides we tried were the curly fries and the sweet potato fries. They had a special of deep fried asparagus, which is in season here, which we also ordered. It was great too. All in all, don’t pass up this place. We will definitely be back as their menu has a lot of good choices. Service was good too.
