Traveling with my family and found this little gem, super cute little spot clean with excellent service and food. The prices were wonderful especially for the food quality the only thing we didn't enjoy was the seared Ahi tuna- which was cooked all the way through so more like canned tuna this dish should be lightly seared on both sides with a nice pink juicy center hopefully they work on this because everything else was phenomenal chicken strips and onion rings were homemade...
The server was nice. The name suggested a place that offered well prepared walleye, but it is essentially a dive bar. The walleye was deep fried, unseasoned, and generally lacked flavor. Tartar sauce was unpleasant, and when I asked for lemon wedges, i got lemon slices used for garnishing cocktails. It is difficult to squeeze a slice. This place is an okay dive bar with friendly people. Not a place for walleye.
We were in town on a Monday night looking for a place to have dinner. This was the only open restaurant we could find. The menu is varied with a lot of choices, the prices are very reasonable and portions are ample. We ordered smelt and lemon butter walleye. We also had deep fried green beans, that were awesome. Brigett was our server and she is amazing. She has a great personality and was efficient and checked on us without being intrusive. This restaurant is definitely worth...
