I got the roast beef. It used to be a home cooked beef roast. so good. it was not good. sliced beef looked like lunch meat slices. They used to be real food

Gillies is not bad and it's not great. It's a coney island in a old building that's decorated like a old time roadside market. There's stuff to look at....everywhere. the service has always been great. Reminds me of granny's house. There's always seems to be a open table when I go and the food is....well coney islandish??? The coneys are good the burgers are fair and my favorite is the country fried steak breakfast that you can get any time. This place will always hold memories for me I would meet my mother and grandma there for lunch or they would take me growing up. Somethings have changed,now I go there with my kids and grandkids.
Parking: Big trucks or 18 wheelers can stop In the lot across the street.
Wheelchair accessibility: Two doors not automatic. Parking by the door next to the wagon

I stopped in on 03-09-25 for dinner at the drive through window . We had our food handed to us through the window and we didn’t check until we got to our destination. The food was someone else’s order . Came back and they had our order waiting they said . I believed they had it right this time . I was foolish and wrong . They had the main dish correct and the wrong sides . I would not recommend this restaurant.

Are waitress tonight was amazing I didn’t get her name. But the restaurant was busy and it seemed that she was the only server on. She’s a very hard worker. You go girl!!

We drove a long ways to get some food and were hoping to dine in,and online it says they are open 24 hours but when we get there they only have the drive through open and we all checked and it didn’t say that it was only drive through
Well first off service was fantastic! The fried green peppers were the best fried food I have had in a long time. However do not expect the fresh house battered chicken tenders on the menu picture. What I was served looked like microwaved banquet frozen meal tenders. I was unfortunate because the fries looked perfect as well but if I want microwave or quick frozen food I will plug in my air fryer.

They are not open 24 hrs. Only the drive through is open 24 hrs. Drove all the way out there at 6am and they weren't open.

Absolutely terrible. Missing the owner. Wish he wouldn’t have retired but I am happy for you. Or not let the employees taken over. Chili cheese fries half the portion. Fake processed cheese on fries, not even melted. Worst flint style coney meat I’ve ever had. Bland crap. Wouldn’t feed it to my dogs.
