Great food and service. Highly recommend it! The new Manager, Phil, does a fantastic job.
I love this place. Been going for years since I was a kid with my grandparents. Glad to see it so busy and successful but why god why did you take out the jukebox ?! 💔

Food is good, love the Reuben. Service is lacking and Jillian should not be working in customer service. Incredibly rude.

Picture this scenario.... My family and I were camping in Oscoda and got rained out on one of our final nights. We were in dire need of a dry place to plan our escape and take a break from camping meals. Hotdogs, beans/weinies ect. Our GPS was acting up from the storm so we were sorta driving around blindly. We drive about 8 miles and find a local bar. It was an unassuming building, no whistles and bells. Looks can be so deceiving and usually are in many cases, this one especially.
The food was fresh, super hot and delicious. Great chili too! If you're not from the area and your GPS is spotty, it can be a challenge to find this bar and grill, but it's well worth it. The kids, my wife and myself all enjoyed ourselves. Wife ordered the perch dinner and the chef really knows what he's doing. Huge fillets too! it was outstanding. I got the Mushroom/swiss burger add bacon, because why not. Superb! We'll be back for sure and in greater numbers. I have to bring my pops up. He'd love it. It was reminiscent of one of my many meals at The Dog Patch in Munising, MI.
Kid-friendliness: Well...It is a bar, in it's truest form. We went at lunch, not knowing if kids were even allowed. Nobody batted an eye so we made our way down to the dining area and were immediately greeted and seated. I'm assuming after a certain time in the evening, the bar is adults only.

Service is terrible! Its pretty much a walk up bar service. Their not nice, and act like your bothering them! We use to go atleast twice a week! Now, maybe once a month.
