Today was the second time I have been to this restaurant. I will always go whenever I am in the UP. The fish and fries are fabulous (I love fish so I have not tried anything else) the staff are wonderful, and the restaurant is super clean. The owner is the nicest man EVER and what really makes the restaurant in addition to the great food. He has been there both times I went and I am assuming he usually is. You can tell when someone loves what he does! He always stops by every table to make sure everything is great and just to be friendly and talk. If you are driving by when they are open you must go! You wonât be disappointed!!! My favorite place ever! Thank you to the owner for making this such a great place!! Many people post about the great manager, well I asked him, he is the owner!!!

A âmust stopâ when traveling on US 2 in the Upper Peninsula! What an incredible surprise! Outstanding, freshly sourced beef provided for the best hamburger I have had. Fresh caught white fish, hand-cut fries, and the freshest ice cream and shakes.

For anyone from the Lower Peninsula, think of Moofinfries as a northern Michigan version of Five Guysâonly better. From what I remember, itâs all locally sourced, kind of a farm-to-table setup, and you can definitely taste the difference.
We try to stop here pretty much every time weâre in the U.P., if it works out. And honestly, the food is greatâbut the customer service is even better. Every time weâve been in, the owner has been there, checking in with people (including us) to see how their food is. If itâs your first time, heâll even take the time to explain how everything works. Super friendly and welcoming, and just a really well-run place.
They always had cool merch, and theyâve recently added some great stickers if youâre into that kind of thing.
If youâre heading north, skip the fast food near the bridge and hold out about 45 more minutes to get here. Totally worth it.
What a delightful place. Met the owner while my face was covered in a delicious olive burger, with some of gravy from the poutine fries! Fast and friendly service! He has worked for a long time to perfect his recipes, and it shows!

It was my first time stopping here on Friday and I just want to say that Iâm blown away by this place. The staff were so friendly and stopped by our table multiple times after getting our food to talk to us. Burger meat comes from a local farm so the food was fresh and hot(fries were burning my mouth but thatâs a good thing). And there was a bit of a wait but thatâs to be expected when the food is cooked to order. Overall great food and experience.
