Bubba's BBQ and Catering LLC

Having Bubba cater for me started over 10 years ago. You see my son fell in love with his Brisket, and said that he will have it whenever he can and that he wanted it for his graduation party. Fast forward to 2025, that date came and with some super easy planning his long time request was accomplished. Every guest at his graduation party complimented how good the BBQ was. From both of us, Thank you for such great BBQ.

So much food for what we spent and it all was amazing! Our guests were still talking about it days after we had it!

I had a memorial event for my father and I can not tell you how many people raved about the food as well as the service. TOP NOTCH!!!

got the platter, sausage was great, brisket was good, ribs didn't have much flavor. coleslaw was bland Mac and cheese was just average. Corn bred was just corn bred.

I had to laugh at some of the reviews that have been left on this Gentleman’s business page here on Google. Those kinds of reviews are not representative of the foodie/restaurant reviewer I wanna be.

I don’t know Bubba personally, and my review is only based on today’s visit. My review is based on what I ate, how I was served & if I feel I got a good value for my money!

Service was friendly & whatever Bubba was doing, it smelled great.

I snagged a brisket sandwich, warm tender brisket, roughly chopped formed into a ball and smashed between a soft bun with barbecue & pickles (should have snagged an extra sauce in the side). Thats on me, was too worried about snagging a photo before I devoured it. This item was crossed off the board moments after I ordered it. I’ll tell you what, it was good to the last bite.

Mac & Cheese. I loved it. Each noodle had all kinds of gooey cheese sauce hidden in its ridges. Flavor reminded me off when I was a kid and would get my buddy in trouble with his mom because I would raid their cheese slices. Those cheese slices that just melt and disappear into the milk or cream. Mmm.

Elote. I always get disappointed when a truck does this dish & it’s not worth the money.

This corn belongs on this menu! Corn was simmered with butter, coated with cheese, spices & fresh cilantro. My only complaint was I had a fork, not a spoon to shovel into my hungry mouth.

A good half pound of brisket, soft bun, pickles, a pint plus of mac & elote for 25$.

I feel like I got a great dinner for the price & would gladly save an appetite if knew what event they were gonna be at next!

Great food and service! we had Bubba's cater our son's graduation party. Everyone raved about the food! Great communication about expected delivery time and next step. Great pricing! We'd absolutely use them again!

Over priced in my opinion $20 for a bun with some bbq on it and Cole slaw and a side of pasta salad. BBQ tasted ok, had better but have had worse

Please skip this food truck.Okay when you smoke you're not supposed to use the white smoke that means you're burning wood and it tastes like that in your pulled pork. Way too many burnt pieces way too many pieces of fat. And a barbecue place doesn't have good coleslaw should not be a barbecue place. Not enough sauce on the sandwiches and way too much vinegar in the sauce.

Recently had their food, overall cold, brisket was ok. Pulled pork was cold, dry & overcooked, Cole slaw was tasteless and bland, only good part was mac & cheese. But I'm pretty sure that is store bought not actually made fresh.

Awesome place, stopped by and grabbed some barbecue while they were parked at tombstone brewery. Will stop again!

We chose Bubba's Catering for our wedding in Pontiac and they were PHENOMENAL. I had family from Georgia that was skeptical about Michigan BBQ and they were blown away. Everyone was talking about the food! We had the brisket, pulled pork, baked beans, and mac & cheese for the dinner. Our appetizers were BBQ pork filled potato skins, bacon wrapped jalapeno sausage bits and pork belly burnt ends. We did have some vegetarian guests we wanted to accommodate, so Steve whipped up a BBQ jackfruit option and made the baked beans vegetarian! I can't believe how delicious even the vegetarian options were. We had so many compliments and it was such an easy, professional process to book them. Highly recommend!

Wonderful BBQ! Used them twice now for community events... Great food and great service. Heard nothing but happy reviews from all!
