Love the brussel sprouts on happy hour.
The music was fun 70's and 80's music that we enjoyed. Not to loud, just loud enough!

Highly recommend this restaurant in a very quaint part of New Baltimore. Had the lake perch and ribs - both were delicious. Never felt rushed and staff was very attentive. Kudos to the chef and staff.

We really enjoy dining here. We have plans to have dinner with friends this weekend.
However when finalizing our plans, my husband and I both reflected on our last visit negatively.
We enjoyed a lovely dinner with friends. We received a text from another couple, who were nearby, who wanted to stop and join us for a drink/ dessert. We were midway thru our meal. We expected to enjoy another beverage and dessert when they arrived.
The hostess (not sure her name) was very bothered that we were not leaving. She was worried about the “rush” of people coming in and the need for tables. There were three open tables surrounding us at this time.
She came over to us three times in 10 minutes to let us know and to “hover” over us. We spent well over $200…and wanted to spend more. The couple joining us are frequent diners here, as are we.
I assured her that if the “rush” arrived we would surely give up our chairs and leave.
Only one of the tables around us filled during our time there.
Advice: take care of the customers in front of you…stop worrying about the ones who might show up.
Also, why are some drinks only available upstairs? They are on the menu downstairs🤷♀️ Slushy rum runners for the whole building, please.
In conclusion, we had planned to dine here on Friday but are now considering a more friendly place.
In a good note, the food is good. We go for the whole experience, however.

I have been to Finn‘s many times before and always love the food and atmosphere. My friend and I came to grab a bite & yap on their outside upstairs patio and it was lovely! We were able to be seated immediately on a Friday evening (6 pm on the dot.)
The drinks and food were outstanding. We enjoyed the velvet pumpkin and caramel apple cocktails, and couldn’t recommend them enough. I picked the white fish with salad and a loaded baked potato.
Our waitress was super nice and our food came out fast. We each had a three course meal and drinks for ~$50 bucks a person with a nice size serving.
Highly recommend & will return!

Honestly disappointed in food. Ordered the Filet Mignon for $34 and it was in fact not filet Mignon it was sirloin cut. Baked potato was good. My wife got a the Finwich which was a chicken sandwich that had about 2 inches of breading on it. I don’t think we will be returning needless to say.

This is the fourth or fifth time I have been to this place. The service is decent, drinks are okay, and the food is quite bland. The pasta I was served today was honestly gross. When I confided in the waitress that the pasta was bland and the shrimp tasted rubbery, she (Michelle) stated something along the lines, “Oh, it’s really busy today. The chef must have not seasoned it like they normally do.” This place is always busy.. that’s not an excuse to serve subpar food. Please do better, especially considering the prices.

I had a great experience at Fins Eatery & Spirits and would definitely recommend it. From the moment we walked in, the staff was welcoming and attentive. Miranda, in particular, stood out, her service was top notch. She was friendly, quick to check in on our table, and made sure everything came out just right. It really makes a difference when someone goes above and beyond to make guests feel comfortable.
The food was excellent, too. The mahi mahi was cooked perfectly light, flavorful, and paired well with the sides. The Detroit Burger was another highlight: juicy, well seasoned, and stacked with fresh toppings that hit the spot. For starters, the spinach and artichoke dip was creamy, cheesy, and came out hot with plenty of toasted bread points for dipping. Everything tasted fresh and came out quickly, which added to the experience.
The atmosphere was lively but still relaxed enough to enjoy a good meal and conversation. While there’s always room for little improvements here and there, the overall visit was a strong one. Between the great service, especially from Miranda, and the delicious food, Fins is a place I’ll happily return to
