Kid-friendliness: It's a diner. They have a kids menu. I've never been in there than when there wasn't at least one child with their grandmother or their mother

Wheelchair accessibility: When Grandma was still with us she and I would go here because they were so kind and often someone would hold the door open. As I got her over the threshold she was completely wheelchair bound

Hey there.

I’m not from here, I am a Kansas native and I work in Michigan from time to time. I have stopped in to have dinner a couple of times. I love that the owner is very engaged in his restaurant and what’s happening inside. The food and atmosphere are great, I definitely feel right at home. I find it easy to unwind after a long day of work.

The kitchen uses seed oils on the grill and deep fryer. These are the cheapest oils. Studies are proving how bad this is for all of us. I asked to have potatoes grilled with butter and was told no can do. A nice bunch of folks serving tasty food that is bad for us. Seed oils known as vegetable oil are making us sick

I had some raw pieces of chicken in my chicken tender dinner and my salad lettuce was wet and soggy. Also was approached by a “regular”and spoke about politics trying to persuade us to vote a certain way while we were waiting for our food. He spoke about racism but had the nerve to ask my cousin what’s her nationality just because she’s a darker skin tone and didn’t ask me and must of assumed I was “white” when I am a Hispanic American. She is visiting Michigan and felt very uncomfortable at this restaurant. The waitress even asked if we knew this man because of how he was so comfortable talking to us the way he did. He also spoke about abortion which I believe a man should not speak of. We didn’t say much there for I didn’t want to make a scene and my day was very calm. But this is for sure a place I wouldn’t go back to.

They try charging you for separate items that come with specials. Tuna pita is lousy. No tuna in the pita. Never will go back there. Owner will interpret the specials to his advantage and customers know nothing.
The chicken lemon rice is very salty.

Just want to say "thank you" to the owner for the special breakfast price yesterday morning..had a wonderful breakfast and the special was delicious..the sign was posted on the front door about the special and decided to have that special..as seniors we truly appreciate having specials awarded to us on a fixed income in todays world..it is very kind of you and we hope that you keep up your special deals..we will continue to patronize your establishment..in today's world a ''thank you" is never given, so we would like once again to say ''thank you"...
