We kept talking about it, so my sister and I came to Louis' one afternoon. She absolutely adored her lamb chops and thought they were just divine!
I had the sauteed perch, and it was so good! Sadly, I'm not used to eating such rich food, and I'm afraid the butter and wine sauce was a little much for me, gastronomically, but the food was very good. Both my sister and I look forward to coming back and bringing our other sister with us!

If you don’t have Three hours don’t go, and speaking up doesn’t help. From the floor tiles being cracked up to 25 mins for a glass of water to well never mind go see for yourself why you shouldn’t be here

We have always loved this place but the last 2 visits have been awful. We went there for our anniversary in August. My husband tried to order 3 different steaks only to be told we don’t have that today. When asked what they did have the waiter said filet or New York strip. While both are good, not what we went there for. Recently we took my mother in law there for her 75th birthday. The salad was wilted and barely any on the plate. My steak was very under done and bled all over my plate when I cut into it. I ordered medium well. I ended up taking my steak home.
Sending my food back to the kitchen will never happen, even in a high end restaurant. We ordered a cake for her, which was delicious. The waiter took it to the back and came back with 3 slivers of cake. Then proceeded to ask if we wanted to take the cake home. My husband said I think so. The waiter then proceeded to say, well we usually give it to the staff to eat. Confused and dumbfounded by the question we said, um okay I guess. We felt on the spot and found it very tacky. But we were still charged $26 for the cake. If you are charging for the cake, that question should never be asked. It was embarrassing.
I doubt we will go back and waste several hundred dollars again.
So disappointed!

I ordered the Detroiter steak. It was very good, cooked well, and very tender. The zip sauce was excellent. The fries weren't anything special and the lettuce in my garden salad was wilted and certainly not fresh. The service was very slow. I sat with a group of 6 and it took our waitress almost 90 min to take our order. When the food finally arrived, it took almost another 10 minutes for the sides to come out. We were there for 3 hours. I don't mind paying a little more for good food and service but this was neither. At an average of $50 a dinner, i expected more. Definitely not going back

Was very disappointed that even with a reservation, we were sitted in the bar area when the whole restaurant wasn't that busy. We were stuck next to a very loud and obnoxious party . It was my girlfriends birthday and we could barely hear each other speaking. Liked the place but not happy with the way we were treated.

The food was perfectly cooked. My husband and I both got the 8 ounce Piedmonte steak with some tasty onion straws and perfectly creamy au gratin potatoes. Our server Ban was the best! We really enjoyed the entertainment which they have on Thursdays. My husband recommends a Long Island! They have a really great wine list too!

Depends on time of day....evening hrs....Loud! everyone is trying to carry on a conversation over dinner AND over the music, what a cluster duck. Makes it difficult. I'll eat early or ask to be seated in the dining AREA, NOT BAR.
