Cash only so hit up an ATM! (located in gas station on corner of Cotton rd. & Jefferson). Great food & atmosphere, homemade sausage patties and gravy was delicious, fresh baked goods galore!

Tiny, clean, wholesome, caring, and friendly place with incredibly well HOMEMADE food. Went for lunch and got breakfast. Local, fresh blueberry pancakes were extremely tasty. The most amazing Dearborn ham! The breakfast skillet with hash browns and gravy was delicious and fortunately not as "heavy" as you would expect... rather, the gravy was flavorful without being too thick. Nice counter and booth seating. On my list of local favorites!

I love Michaels restaurant! The food is excellent - we had breakfast and my eggs were perfect! I love the neighborly vibe and the owner and staff greeted so many people by name. It was busy when we arrived however we were seated immediately and our meal arrived quickly. The friendly welcoming energy was the best part- everyone was happy and the place was a buzz of positive joy, laughter, and happy chatter. Michaels is small yet comfortable, very clean, excellent service and warm welcoming people. It felt like I was walking into my Mom's kitchen with family surrounding me. Comfortable!

Dietary restrictions: With the home made dishes it would be easy to make them vegetarian.

Neighborhood eatery, family owned, family operated, great service ( I mean that ). Only open for breakfast/ lunch, early dinner. The Owner bakes pies once a week I believe BUT you have to be really quick to get a slice or two, hand made from Grandma's recipe!
