Tiny, clean, wholesome, caring, and friendly place with incredibly well HOMEMADE food. Went for lunch and got breakfast. Local, fresh blueberry pancakes were extremely tasty. The most amazing Dearborn ham! The breakfast skillet with hash browns and gravy was delicious and fortunately not as "heavy" as you would expect... rather, the gravy was flavorful without being too thick. Nice counter and booth seating. On my list of local favorites!
I love Michaels restaurant! The food is excellent - we had breakfast and my eggs were perfect! I love the neighborly vibe and the owner and staff greeted so many people by name. It was busy when we arrived however we were seated immediately and our meal arrived quickly. The friendly welcoming energy was the best part- everyone was happy and the place was a buzz of positive joy, laughter, and happy chatter.
