This place seemed nice so we stopped in, was told they had reservations and could not seat us for 30-40mins. The place had over 15/20 tables empty and I know the area/time, no way they were all reserved. We sat at the bar for close to 15mins and waited for someone to get us a drink, two groups of people sat next to us after we got there and received water/drinks/ and ordered food. Got the bartenders attention and she said hold on and went in the back, 5 more minutes passed. We got fed up and left. Not coming back.

Way to dark to even read the menu. Inquired about chips ( they have awesome mexican cusine), and they told me I could purchase so with salsa. Kinda was surprised had to pay for chips at a Mexican restaurant. Didn't purchaseMonte Crisco was good but small. Had a plate of their fries . OK, wish they were thiner and cooked more . , they were like assorted size potato wedges . 17.00... wife hade 3 avocado tacos , beans rice ..19.00. Waitress was great.not alot for price , food good staff good.

Walked in very excited to try this place out yesterday. We were greeted right away and then were seated. The tables and chairs are way too close together. Our waitress bumped into my arm several times trying to get in between to her other table. We sat for 10 minutes without anyone approaching us. Had to ask if we could get something to drink. Another 15 minutes went by, and we still had no drinks, we each ordered just a coke. I had to ask if we could get our drinks, the waitress definitely forgot to get them for us. Honestly, I really love sushi, and was super disappointed. Not only was it over-priced sushi, but the quality was not there. I have no problem paying a higher price, if the quality supports the price. We did like the atmosphere/ vibe of the place. I got a wet burrito, and it was okay, but again, over-priced, and you have to add a protein separately, otherwise it's 14 dollars for a tortilla wrapped up with some beans, rice and pico. My husband got tacos, and for 6.50 for 1 taco, I did expect a little bit better of quality and presentation. It looked completely slopped together, and the meat was kind of dry, like it wasn't fresh, but just heated up a little bit. Honestly for all the hype, its mediocre at best. We honestly probably wouldn't come back.

Food was ok. Service was ok. The part that was upsetting is the fact that they automatically put a 20% tip into the bill. Because of this they shortchanged themselves because of what they did. I was gonna tip in cash a higher amount but after I saw the ticket, they determined that they were worth less. I tip based on how service is not based on because I have to. Your service determines how much I tip. Being that option was taken away I won’t be returning.

Amazing is an understatement. What a place! I’m just going to let the photos of the food speak for themselves- I’m still blown away! The service was phenomenal- our waiter Benjamin was very attentive and warm. The atmosphere pleasantly surprised me.. it’s a true feat to have a place that you can bring your kids, or enjoy a date night out together and feel like you went downtown. The sushi was fresh, delicious, and so beautifully put together. I think this is my new favorite spot!

Very nice addition to downtown. An awesome menu selection and amazing tacos ?. A little pricey compared to other restaurants but Tuesday is buy 2 get 1 free. For the price chips and salsa should come with.Very nice atmosphere and wasn't busy at lunch time.I look forward to trying more items on the menu.

I had an absolutely outstanding experience for Sunday dinner at Blind Owl.The ambiance and decor is so colorful and unique making for a warm and welcoming environment. Our waitress Keren was fantastic, super friendly and attentive. The variety of menu options is not something you typically see as they have a full Sushi Bar, Latin American cuisine, and New American fare all under one roof. You can literally get a sushi roll, tacos, and a burger if you wanted to.I spoke with Danielle who is the General Manager who spoke very highly of the owner Nick. She explained how he loves to travel the world and incorporates the flavors he experiences when abroad to use for his dishes at the restaurant which explains the unique fusion of different foods in their menu. She also informed me that they offer brunch on Sundays from 10-2 which I cannot wait to try. I really appreciated her taking the time to talk to us.Moving on to the food, and I don’t say this lightly, do NOT come here without ordering the Crispy Brussels Sprouts. Being my favorite vegetable, I eat more Brussels sprouts than I’d care to admit. These are easily in my top 5. The Chipotle Agave Glaze is rich without being too heavy. It was perfection. For drinks I had the Smokey Old Fashioned which was great, and my friend had the Classic Margarita which was strong and flavorful. Moving to the entrees, my friend ordered the Philadelphia Roll and the TNT Roll and thankfully she had no problem sharing. For not being just a Sushi place I was skeptical. To say I was floored would be an understatement, this is truly some of the freshest sushi I’ve ever had, they knocked it out of the park easily. I was already full from the Brussels so I settled on the Yellowtail Carpaccio for something on the lighter end. I again cannot stress enough about the freshness of the fish. It puts other Sushi places to shame, and the presentation was fantastic. For dessert my friend and I split the Coffee Crème Brûlée which was extremely flavorful, and the Fried Cheesecake which came with this amazing Berry Chipotle dipping sauce which was heavenly. Bonus points for locally sourcing the ingredients for the sauce as well!Overall it was an amazing experience, and probably New Baltimore’s best restaurant in my opinion. Definitely a must try if you’re in the area.

I never thought of going to a restaurant and ordering both Mexican and Japanese cuisine would be good. Both styles of cuisine are literally some of the best I have ever had. The sushi is excellent, and the asada tacos I had tonight were some of the best I have ever had. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough to anyone else who wants to try.
