Amazing experience overall. I’m a very picker eater when it comes to burgers and I’d say this is the BEST burger I’ve had. The buns are toasted and give a crispy crunchy texture. Meat is cooked perfectly at medium and the sauce pairs nicely with it. Fries are so fresh and you can tell it’s made in house. My friends ordered the tacos and they also look amazing. Such beautiful view by the lake side. You can see the boats and jet skis sitting outside. So pretty and very friendly service. Nice vibe. Nice restroom with good quality napkins. That’s how I tell a restaurant or hotel actually cares about the quality they deliver. 10/10!!

My mom and I went for lunch today and we sat on the patio. The view was beautiful and the food was delicious; we had such an amazing time. Our server, Joseph, was amazing. He was so attentive, helpful, and very kind. He truly cared about us having a good time and a good meal. On our reservation we listed that we were celebrating my graduation. The restaurant was kind enough to gift us an order of beignets which were so warm, airy, and yummy. I had the lobster roll which was so good and my mom had the chicken sandwich which was to die for. Highly recommend!

Came here with my family and despite the fact that they say you can only have a reservation for 6 people inside, they were able to accommodate the 8 we had, which was amazing. We had a drink at the bar while we waited for our table and it was ready before all the drinks were. Our server was attentive without hovering too much. She made great recommendations. If you're hungry, I suggest the chicken sandwich. It was an enormous (and delicious) buttermilk fried chicken thigh with a large portion of fries. For a medium sized meal, the steak potato hash was a good sized portion (not huge, but not tiny), topped with 2 eggs. For a light meal/snack, the Dutch baby was ideal. It was topped with a variety of berries and lemon butter. My kids got chocolate chip pancakes from the kids menu and they were wonderfully huge and fluffy. All in all, delicious food, tasty drinks and great service.

Hate to write this but it needs to be known. We were extremely disappointed with our experience at Brentwood Tavern in New Buffalo. Our son has peanut and egg allergies, and when we asked the manager, Lawson, for help identifying safe menu options, it was clear he had no idea how to handle the situation. He even said he didn’t know how serious the allergy was, so he didn’t know what to do. That is absolutely ridiculous—any food allergy has the potential to be life-threatening, and it should never depend on whether a manager “thinks” it’s serious enough. There was no effort to check ingredients, consult the kitchen, or suggest alternatives. Food allergies are not a minor inconvenience—they require clear procedures and careful handling to ensure guest safety. For a restaurant of this size, in a popular destination, I was shocked at how unprepared and uninformed they were. If you or your family have dietary restrictions, I’d recommend going elsewhere where your safety and concerns will be taken seriously.

Everything from the food to the atmosphere was 100% breathtaking. Beautiful views on the outdoor patio and even in the main restaurant that looked like the beautiful lower deck of a ship. The food was amazing and so was the service. I would go here every weekend if I could.

Enjoyed a very nice dinner here recently. Their feta and garlic toast appetizer is delicious, the burger was cooked perfectly and their roasted half chicken was juicy and flavorful. Our server mentioned that she typically bartends, but she was a great server and had good recommendations. The local handmade caramels they offered at the end of the meal were a nice treat and were excellent.
