Stumbled into this place on our adventure to see the sunset over Lake Michigan. Glad we did! It was our family of five, kids had a great hamburger and fish and chips. Started off with some fantastic sourdough and grass-fed butter along with some very well prepared calamari. I had the spare rib ragú which was phenomenal but, I must say my wife’s white fish was AMAZING! The smell alone of the capers and tomatoes was enough to make your mouth water. Very nicely done!

We had a great dining experience here on a cold winter day. The restaurant has such a cozy vibe, the staff are friendly, and the food on the menu is grand. Coming here for a meal is a good decision.

Our first visit to the renovated Bentwood. We have visited the old Bentwood often, many times over the years since they opened. The service remains excellent. The restaurant is ridiculously dark and noisy. Small plates and big plates to share are available à la carte, and the cuisine is incredibly overpriced. We ordered a lot of plates since each person wanted something different and ended up curating their entrees with à la carte items. The space needs brighter décor and improved lighting. Panels for noise reduction would be quite beneficial. The food was overpriced and not very tasty.
