The food was average beer pub food. We waited almost 20 minutes before we could get a hold of someone so they could send a waitress our way. We were just about to leave, and a waitress showed up. The couple behind us got up and left. Once things got going, it all worked out. Surprisingly, it wasn't very busy. It's a little discouraging when you try a place for the first time it they blow it.

Been here half dozen times while visiting from Chicago. Always had a good meal. Service is good, not perfect, but no real problems that couldn't be fixed. Good entertainment too. Parking easy.

Did not get to try the service, food, or atmosphere because they were closed. Drove an hour to get there. The website said open but they were not. We were there on Wednesday at around 5:30pm. A white pickup turned around and the driver looked at us then went inside and watched us while we sat and looked for a new place to eat. My husband really wanted to try Ghost Isle, unfortunately we will not return. I have attached a picture of the posted hours.

Good atmosphere, prompt courteous service. Drinks from the bar were tasty and spot on. I had the shaved prime rib sandwich, which came out better quality than I was expecting and hit the spot. The chicken flatbread was also very good. The pesto spread is a bit overpowering on the flatbread, but overall, the food and experience we had was great! Would return.

The environment was wonderful. Service was great. The food was good and well seasoned👍🏾. I had the bone-in wings with Carolina bbq sauce. The drinks were definitely good i had the bourbon cherry lemonade 😎 definitely was on point. I will return again on the next trip down

I tried a flight of beer here, but I had to pass on the food. Prices were a bit too high for my tastes at the time. The beer was kind of a mix in quality, but mostly good. The spiced porter I tried was excellent as was the saison. Those two beers were my favorites of the bunch, and the rest weren’t bad, but just a little watery. This was my third time visiting Ghost Isle. It has always been a good looking place, but the beer has been hit or miss for me.
When you can't get into Greenbush, stop in here. Or just skip them and go here instead.
After getting skunked yet again my wife and I headed back down the Red Arrow Highway and made our first visit to Ghost Isle Brewery. First off there's plenty of parking. Second there's an outdoor area that would be great to sit at when it's warmer. The brewery is very spacious with a big bar and plenty of tables. We were seated and ordered onion rings and boneless chicken wings and a tasting flight of four 5 Oz beers. We had two IPAs, a Stout, and a Porter. We ordered two pints each, both of us having one pint with no duplicates. They were good and we're looking forward to try new beers when we come up next time.
The appetizers were very good and plentiful. We went for an order of kettle chips and dip and enjoyed those as well. Next time we'll try dinner.
Give it a try, you'll like it.
