Food and service were phenomenal. We stopped in for lunch on our way up to South Haven for a quick weekend getaway. We sat on the deck outside. Everything was so amazing!

8/17 3pm - they are out of IPA's.
Great selection of beer and delicious food. Customer service was also excellent. We can’t wait to come back!

food sucked and the service is questionable. took an hour to bring out some cold food. the only saving grace is the outside view and cherry ale. save yourself the disappointment and get a burger at nancy’s then ice cream at oinks.

Ate there 3 times on vacation. Only negative I have is if you have Sloppy Joe's on your menu they have to be exceptional. They were NOT.

Out riding all weekend, stopped in looking for a quick beer and maybe an appetizer. Had 3 wonderful beers, (2 hazy ales, one cider) and the smashburger sandwich. I couldn't stop smiling. Everyone in there was off of the interstate because of a traffic jam. All of the staff doubled down during the rush and killed it. Such a great experience considering the heat and circumstances.

I was in on Sunday, the 27th, to catch up with some friends for dinner and drinks. All was great until the 'band' started playing. They were so loud that I couldn't hear my friends or our waitress, not to mention they were terrible! I watched several employees ask them to turn it down, and they just wouldn't. I felt terrible for our waitress because she was very good and patient, but we had to leave and go to another brewery in the area. We were planning on staying for more food and drinks, but our heads(and ears) just couldn't take it. In the future, we'll make sure that band is not playing before we go back because Ghost Isle is a usual meet up spot for us that we very much enjoy.

The only reason I give the atmosphere a one star rating is because when I was in there on the 27th the music was very bad.. I would highly recommend the owner stop letting them play there as for it may cause people to not return. It’s kinda hard to have a nice meal when you can’t really hear your partner that’s talking next to you because the Weko Boys want to be ever so loud and refuse to turn down the volume. Please for the love of all things holy stop letting them play..

Nice location and we caught live music while there that was lovely.
However thats where it ends. We sat down and it took about 15 minutes for our drink order to be taken. She tried to walk away before everyone had actually ordered. Then when the drinks came we ordered apps. We ordered 2 and before we could order the other 2 we wanted (we had a party of 6)she was gone. It was about another 15 minutes before she came with the apps and we were able to order the second round. We finally got our drinks and all the apps we wanted and then we were finally able to order our food. Most everything was fine not amazing but not bad. Except for my youngest. He ordered the patty melt. The patties were just horrid. Grey with not an ounce of flavoring on it. No salt or pepper. He likened it to a hamburger you could get at a gas station. When this was brought up to our waitress she asked if he wanted it remade but he said no. The taste had killed his appetite. He had like 3 bites of it and didnt even eat the fries. We had all finished our food so his was the only full plate. She apologized and went to get the check. To 'make up' for the problem they gave us 10% off of my son's meal..that totaled a whole $2. It was honestly insulting. Total ended up being $250. One person didnt eat and we never got refills on our drinks. Just overall not a good experience and expensive.

TL;DR: Great beer and cocktails. Kitchen is terrible.
Arrived 5:30pm on a Sunday. Quickly seated, drinks and apps in ~20 minutes. Then comes the 70 minute wait for food that was, of course, barely lukewarm. By the time we left at 730pm, the kitchen closed sign had been up for 30 minutes. Warn us, huh?

My party (3 people) and I came to New Buffalo, Mi. just to try Ghost Isle Brewery for a birthday. Overall, this experience was not for me: 4/10. We arrived shortly after 5pm and we stayed until almost 7pm.
The ease of finding parking and handicap accessibility was magnificent. Nobody in my party is handicapped. however, knowing this is an option is wonderful. The atmosphere and cleanliness of both the tables and bathrooms were not first noticeable. However with the grates tables and chair, they are noticeable between the planks.
It was busy the entire time we were here, and they could definitely use more staff. The staff they did have was kind and friendly. Practically the only redeeming factor outside the atmosphere.
The wait for drinks orders was ok. The drinks we received were good. The beer we received wasn't anything to clamor about, it was decent: 6/10.
I disliked that they brought out our entrees at separate times. When they brought out two of the three out, the server did not mention anything to the third person. We waited 10 minutes before asking our waiter if their order was coming, all while not eating our own in hopes theirs will be out soon.
Our server comes back to tell us that our ticket must have gotten thrown out and he placed another order in for their entree. Another few minutes goes by, and a different server brings out their entree. It looked magnificent and smelled wonderful.
All the while during this time, I only ordered water to drink, and finished it before I finished my food. Not once did they ask me for a refill, I was able to ask for a refill as they came over to see if we needed to go boxes...
It was just not timely at all, the food I received; prime rib sandwich, tasted like onions on bread. The fries tasted like batter and oil. It was just not a good trip in my experience. Especially since we saw such good food online, to only come for this - was a waste of gas in my view. We traveled from the west side of Illinois, nearly a 4 hour trip just for this.
Thank you to our server, Joshua, and the host who sat us, and those in the kitchen. Enjoy the rest of your day. But you won't see us again.

By far the worst experience i’ve had at a restaurant. Dined in here around 12:15 today and waited nearly 40+mins for our main courses to come out. Meanwhile everyone around my table got their food within 15mins of being seated. With me and my partner being the only brown people in the establishment, our server wasn’t attentive and constantly walked by ignoring us without explanation as to why our food took so long until i gave up on waiting and asked for the check early. Food wasn’t worth that long wait we got put through, unseasoned food, fish was beyond chewy and nearly raw. Worst establishment ever.
