had our wedding reception here and the owner and staff were absolutely amazing! highly recommend! Great food, great atmosphere. super friendly staff. I can't say enough good things about the hummingbird lounge.

Great food but server forgot to inform the kitchen of a food allergy that she had been alerted to by a guest. They replaced the meal but everyone else had finished their dinner by the time the replacement meal arrived. Also the front of the restaurant is very noisy when people are at the bar.

We did my sisters Bachelorette party at the Hummingbird and it was an absolute AMAZING experience. We had a group of 20 girls and did a private dinner which had its own private bar and servers. The food was amazing, the servers were amazing, we were able to play our own music and have the best time. I would highly recommend the Hummingbird for a group event!

The quality of every item we ordered was *chef’s kiss.* The flavors of our cocktails and our meal, from appetizer through dessert were REALLY good. Stand outs included the citrus soy vinaigrette on the seared tuna app, the vegetable risotto, and the white chocolate and raspberry cheesecake. We were scooping up every part of the citrus soy vinaigrette that we could. The vegetable risotto (zucchini, roasted red pepper, and Parmesan) was the most flavorful risotto I’ve ever had. And the cheesecake? So creamy! Our server was kind and attentive and the manager/owner checked in on us several times as he was very present in the restaurant. It’s a cute little place, set in an old house. Very charming. We can’t wait to go back!

Mason is an incredible mixologist, fully fluent in the language of spirits and their intermimgling. A area comprised of smaller spaces of different ambiance and character, each sharing the same menu. We stop here on every trip to New Buffalo.

My wife and I were thrilled to host our rehearsal dinner/welcome drinks for our wedding at Hummingbird. We could not have been more impressed with the result! The ownership and staff at Hummingbird were absolutely amazing. Our family worked with the event coordinator to have our party be a private event throughout the entire Hummingbird property. Our guests were so pleased with the many different areas of the property that were available to mingle in. These spaces were indoor, outdoor, and even some screened in outdoor space. The bartenders were fantastic and attentive. They handled a party of ~100 with ease and poise. The cocktails are truly out of this world. Whether it is a cocktail on the menu or the bartenders making a drink you have never heard of before, everything was delicious! Our group chose to do the taco buffet for dinner and it was fantastic. The food was amazing and it was so easy for everyone to grab food at their own pace.
Hummingbird has many different spaces for private events with the ability to host parties small and large. My wife and I could not recommend Hummingbird more for a private event, night out, or even a quick stop for an unbelievable cocktail!
