My wife and I were thrilled to host our rehearsal dinner/welcome drinks for our wedding at Hummingbird. We could not have been more impressed with the result! The ownership and staff at Hummingbird were absolutely amazing. Our family worked with the event coordinator to have our party be a private event throughout the entire Hummingbird property. Our guests were so pleased with the many different areas of the property that were available to mingle in. These spaces were indoor, outdoor, and even some screened in outdoor space. The bartenders were fantastic and attentive. They handled a party of ~100 with ease and poise. The cocktails are truly out of this world. Whether it is a cocktail on the menu or the bartenders making a drink you have never heard of before, everything was delicious! Our group chose to do the taco buffet for dinner and it was fantastic. The food was amazing and it was so easy for everyone to grab food at their own pace.
Hummingbird has many different spaces for private events with the ability to host parties small and large. My wife and I could not recommend Hummingbird more for a private event, night out, or even a quick stop for an unbelievable cocktail!

I had my Bachelor Party here this weekend and everything was great! The drinks were refreshing with a wide variety of beer & spirits. The food was delicious, high quality, and paired well with everything on the beverage menu. The service was exceptional, They made sure that we had everything we needed, and checked on us frequently. Even with two other parties going on at the same time, we never once had an empty glass. The atmosphere was spectacular! Really had the family business vibe, with the elegance of fine dining, and casual sit down for a drink all in one. I highly recommend The Hummingbird Lounge and we will definitely be making a stop next time we are going through town.

The Hummingbird Lounge hosted us for my best friend's Bachelor Party dinner this last weekend. Our group enjoyed the place so much, that we stopped by three times throughout our stay in New Buffalo. We stopped in for drinks on Thursday night to check the place out. The Old Victorian home has such a great atmosphere, with a more relaxed intimate decor inside, great patio space outdoors, and a large variety of drinks that were premium in taste but not in price. Also as a non-drinker, I appreciated the number and innovativeness of the mocktails offered. We had the Bachelor Party dinner here on Friday, which included a delicious taco bar and homemade chips with salsa and guacamole. The owner even brought out a portable speaker to use for speeches. We stopped in once more for drinks on Saturday for one last hurrah before leaving town the next morning. The owner Ben was very charismatic and accommodating throughout our stay. His manager Matt was also nice, helpful, and attentive. I recommend this place for a nice family dinner, a large event, or stopping in for cocktails. We will be stopping in the Hummingbird Lounge next time in New Buffalo!

As a Gin drinker, I highly recommend the Cucumber Collins. For your next drink, ask Ethan to whip you up a Bee's Nees. Perfection. Big city quality cocktails just off the main drag in New Buffalo. This place has a serious cocktail program and I can't wait to come back to try the food.

Cocktails were refreshing and inventive. Yummy cocktails. Atmosphere is lovely, just great! Pork chop was a treat. The fish and chips are very nice portions. Very tasty. Come for the cocktail, have some food then have another cocktail! Oh and the fries and Brussels sports are magical.
