Overpriced buffet

Mark H. Smith

This place is definitely great.Every time we go to the casino we stop. The prime rib is awesome along with everything else on the menu or buffet. If you go away hungry. It's your own fault.

The buffet was good, but I think they put way too much pepper on the food. There’s a lot of people out there cannot have pepper … that’s why you put salt and pepper shakers on the table so people could put the salt and pepper on the food by themselves. The cooks put way too much pepper on the food especially the mashed potatoes. Don’t need to do that. Nobody else does that.

Most of the food is mass-produced and low quality. The best food items were at the carving area. There are too many options with the amount of staff that they have. Many of the bins were empty, or the food was skinned over and looked unappetizing. Even the desserts lacked taste.

Too expensive for the quality. Service from our waiter was good. He kept our drinks full and our table clear of dirty dishes.

Same food just a different day

Food was honestly subpar and extremely expensive for what it is. The staff were all wonderful. The pork belly was the highlight for me. On a Saturday night at 7:30pm most of the food was pretty far from fresh. The sushi however was the freshest I've ever had.

Everything with this buffet is nice and clean appearance, but that's about it. You can get better food quality for a cheaper price at a mall food court.

Arrived around 4:30pm and waited in line longer than we were eating. Absolutely atrocious how long the process is to pay and get a seat.

The food quality is very sub-par for the price. Soggy fried foods, lack of seasoning, and cheap cuts of meat left me disappointed after paying about $40 per person.

As I said, they have a nice and shiny surface to give the appearance of quality, and that's the gimmick. There's little to no quality to the food, which is the main point of going out to eat. I won't be returning. If I wanted bland old people food, I'd go to the retirement home.

Kid-friendliness: I see small children frequently and I believe they have high chairs as well.

Wheelchair accessibility: Not sure, but the distance between tables is adequate for wheelchairs to get through.

We went on the all you can eat crab leg night. I enjoyed all the food, but it is pricey. Also large groups pay a 20% tip upfront even though its a buffet. Getting dishes cleared off and refills was slow. Had to move the plates myself. But the food was always available. In the middle of casino, no nice views. Free parking is good. This is a good place if you are very hungry and can eat a lot. If you aren't and can't, its not worth the price.

Kid-friendliness: Kids are very expensive here. Check the price in advance.

First off, I want to state that we drove 20 minutes from the casino hotel we were staying at in a different state just to visit this buffet. Our casino did not have a buffet so we figured this one wasn’t that far and we could also check out the gaming too. The place has a longer entrance than to be expected and the road is full of curves, I don’t recommend if you are drinking but that could be the purpose. There was completely easy access to entry once parked, plus one! Security at entrance was very nice, helpful and explained everything, plus 2! Buffet entrance was right up front with out forcing you to pass through all the gaming areas first, plus 3! There was not a huge line to wait and host seemed to be moving everyone through the line at an expected pace, plus 4! Our turn to pay and I, a woman, handed cash to the cashier. When he was ready to hand the change back, he reached over me to hand it to my husband. I found that as the first strike, as it should have been handed to the person who gave it to him. I chalked that up to possibly him being well mannered and was raised that a man pays, and it could have been that innocent, none the less, it still wasn’t the proper way to handle the transaction and others could view it as chauvinistic. We were seated, the hostess was very nice and friendly, plus 5! Our server reached our table before we could even stand up, plus 6. Her name was Felicia, she seemed nice, checked our drink order, offered me water for the wine I ordered,
And seemed as if she was on top of things, plus 7! We walked through the whole buffet, all the food appeared to be fresh, the stations were clean, the meat carver was pleasant, plus 8! Felicia came back to our table once we sat and asked if we needed any sauces, etc for our food, plus 9! After that, Felicia did not come back for quite some time, she then approached and asked my husband if he would like a refill of his tea, and while I would normally plus this service, I had an empty wine glass and not only did she not attempt to remove the empty glasses, she didn’t even ask me if I would like another glass. Strike 2. When she brought my husbands refill, she still did not acknowledge me. My husband gave her the opportunity to do so, so then after she was walking away, he stopped her and made her come back to refill my drink. Strike 3! After that, she never came back to the table. She walked by multiple times and didn’t stop and check on us. Strike 4. I, personally having worked server jobs, and having worked in a different casino, know exactly how the job is, I am always polite, I pre bus my own table to make things easier for the them, and I am very generous when tipping! Because I have worked in the industry I also know what good service is, and what isn’t. And because I go above and beyond to make these servers job easier and beneficial, I also expect good service. This time, my husband stopped me from pre bussing my table, and we also tipped accordingly. While I tipped less than normal, it was still well above being sufficient for the service we got. Offering my husband a refill on a half empty glass of tea, but not me on an empty glass of wine? That my friend was the no go, as I am the one that tips!

The food was good, and the waiter was fabulous. The price was a little steep at 55. They were serving Prime Rib Steak and crab legs. The Italian food was overly cooked, but overall it was very good.
