Timbers Fast Food & Deli New Buffalo

The chicken wings look more like a wing from a turkey, they are very large, and the inside had fat and appeared half cooked. Big not always better. I wasn't able to eat them, I gave 2 stars because it was back and forth on exchanging them for something else, and I specifically asked the question before ordering were they large or small and the girl gave measurement with her hand implying they were small to medium size. They were Scarry size.

Timbers at Four Winds Casino is a very dangerous restaurant for anyone with food allergens or dietary restrictions. They have an entire plant based menu, but the employees are not knowledgeable about all of the ingredients. For example, a manager and a chef stated multiple times that milk and egg wash is inside of the plant based pizza crust; the head chef stated multiple times that these ingredients were not in the pizza crust. The fact that multiple employees with important roles did not read ingredient labels properly is problematic and a major food safety concern. The lack of knowledge and miscommunication did not just occur with the pizza, employee misunderstandings occurred with multiple menu items. The employees are not trained well. Within a ten minute time frame, 5 different employees (managers, cashiers, chefs and more) stated different ingredients for the same menu items. They looked at each other in confusion. The manager stated that the restaurant does not have an allergen menu or a menu with all of the ingredients listed for staff or for guests. Timbers has extremely awful customer service and a lot of staff are not knowledgeable about food safety. Kankakee Grille inside of the Four Winds is no better and has terrible customer service as well. For your own safety, if you have food allergens or dietary restrictions, bring your own food into the hotel if you ever stay here. If you do not plan to be a guest in the hotel, eat before you arrive or after you leave.

Wow, they screwed up 3 different orders. A $10 chili cheese dog without chili, Buffalo wings without Buffalo wing sauce, ordered fried pickles, and received their tasteless fries instead. For the remainder of our hotell stay, we went out for food.

Absolutely great food! The Chicago Dog was great, but the fries are on a whole different level; they aren't greasy, they have an amazing buffet to the breading that just cruches away! The wings were to die for too especially with the honey Sriracha sauce! It was a little pricey but worth it!

Worst experience of my life at a casino deli! Everything was disorganized. Manager seemed to not control over the situation. I waited an extended period of time which it was over an hour for a simple burger while everyone else after me was getting their food. Went to ask for refund, and manager kept telling me the burger was coming which I was no longer interested., I ended up getting my refund

Went it and waited 50 minutes for my food. Saw everyone else after me was getting their food except mine. After waiting so long for a burger and chilli cheese fries. I decided to ask for a refund, and felt insulted after the manager mentioned that I wanted free food!! After a few minutes of going back and forth and total time waiting of 1.20hr, I finally got my money back! Unacceptable customer service!!

It's a good place to grab a bite to eat right off the casino floor. Most seats overlook the casino.

Imagine waiting in a line, full of money spending folk, who just want food, who have to wait in a line for 30+ minutes to order? I thought we as a species figured that out?

Food is tasty, albeit a bit pricy (it is inside a casino after all). Ordered Philly Steak, came out very hot - bread soft - juicy steak - hot, crispy fries. No complaints there. Only thing, the wait in line was long for the amount of tables occupied - the cashier really needed the 2nd register open sooner to clear the line (which was still visible an hour later).

A different experience every time we visit. Some of the staff is friendly, some is not. If we don't have free food money credits, we've been eating downtown New Buffalo instead.
