We went to Denny’s New Lothrop Tavern for the first time Friday night (04/26). The food was great ! We started with the pulled pork nachos as an appetizer (we were warned that it was big), and it was great ! I then had the Icelandic cod fish and chips. It was cooked to perfection, light, moist, and with perfect batter. The staff was very friendly and prices were reasonable. We will definitely be going back !

Love this place. No drama, laid back, food is excellent. No loud mouths and never seen any confrontation let alone an argument. Owners Denny and Tammy are outstanding, the staff is awesome and dam good cooks. Everyone that comes in this place is laid back and chances are you'll get your ears talked off or vice versa. I don't go anywhere else. Sports, Great people, great food, great place for all kinds of parties, reunions, school Sports, ect. Just an awesome place. Not kissing anybodies ass either, this place is excellent. The parking lot could be a bit bigger though.
Vegetarian options: N/A and doesn't matter to me.
Dietary restrictions: Don't know, I'll eat anything they make.
Parking: Great location downtown New Lothrup.
Kid-friendliness: Never a problem with the kido's

I know not many people care about liver and onions, but believe me, Donna makes the best by far. She is a great cook anyway, but her liver and onions are killer!!

Great service and always delicious. They have suckers and toy basket for children. Such a nice place. We go often for dinner

We had good food and service at a great price! It is a cute place. Keno is a plus for me! The only issue was there was a woman sitting at the bar saying the F word over and over. Didn't care for that and was thankful there were no children there. We were there around 7 PM.

We were only in town for a short visit. But we had a great time stopping in for dinner and drinks. The owners were super friendly. I would recommend stopping in if you enjoy a small town bar.

It's a bar, I knew that before we went there, but it's a bar. The staff tries really hard to get things done, but... meh.They make fish with a corn bread batter. It's not my favorite, but having said that, it was certainly cooked very well!I'll go back, but not for fishBill

Bought 2 cod dinners expected 2-3 good size pieces of fish. WHAT A RIP OFF, we got 5 bite size pieces!!! The owner should be ashamed of themselves for charging almost $15 an order.

Very good food such as pizza and fryer items. Chicken tenders and fries are delicious ?. Only setback. Remember to have cash with you. This establishment does not accept credit card as payment but they do have an ?. Very loud environment. At times only one staff member is on duty.
