Fantastic customer service and food quality! Wedding planning is an exhausting endeavor when it isn't your chosen profession, so landing on anything, especially something as important as what food to serve your guests, is such a relief. You may not have heard of an "Arepa" before, and of course you can Google it, but in our opinion, you really need to experience this food to appreciate it; good thing Hola Arepa has a busy food truck that can be found all summer in the West Michigan area. The food is painstakingly prepared using fresh, hand-made ingredients, right down to the smoked brisket, and you can really taste the care they put into the food. If you are afraid of spicy food, you don't have to worry about Hola Arepa; the food is not spicy by nature, but you can use their hand-made sauces to "kick it up" if that's your thing. Hola Arepa is a family business, which was proven at our recent event when the family prepared, delivered, SERVED, and cleaned up the food for around 150 guests...all at a very fair price. We heard nothing but praise for the food quality and portions, which we feel is unusual since the vast majority of our guests had never even heard of an Arepa or any of the other menu items. I highly recommend Hola Arepa for a taste that is uniquely delicious whether for a single family, or a large group-the quality and consistency of taste are second to none, and we are so happy we chose them for our event!

The man who owns it was so kind. he had just posted that they were sold out about half an hour before my family got there and we hadn’t seen it. he ended up flagging us down and gave us some free food he had left. it was so kind and it tasted AMAZING! would definitely recommend

I never leave reviews, because I’m mostly picky or indifferent about food, but when I tell you guys that I swore out loud when I was eating the Desgranado because it was so delicious, I literally swore out loud. This was so good that I could not stop eating it until it was gone. RUN and get yourself some because I will be doing that every time I spot the truck from now on.
