I want to give a huge shout out to Rachael, Laura, Chef, and all the staff at Apothica Teas for making my niece’s bridal shower such a special experience! The food was delicious (the pot de creme is melt-in-your-mouth fantastic!), the room looked great, and the tea was always filled for our guests. Everyone loved getting to pick out their tea cups! I would definitely recommend them for your next event! Thank you, Apothica!!

Booked a high tea for my daughter’s birthday and it was worth every penny. The tea and food was swoon-worthy on its own, and the stellar customer service makes this place exceptional! A place of joy!

Such a magical find in Niles Michigan. So many tea blends varieties to order with your scone and clotted cream (divine!). Plus you get to choose your own cup from a wide variety of options in the antique hutches decorating the space. The lovely shop keepers are so helpful, and truly I never felt rushed in spite of the busyness of the place. Just a beautiful experience all around!

I've been many times and each time is a delight! It is the perfect place if you're wanting to get a few friends together to celebrate a birthday or other special event. My husband and I have used it as a quiet place to make our Christmas shopping list and we've also taken the kids and played bored games while enjoying pots of tea! Had a few afternoon teas. The menu for that is very unique. Sometimes the food is a bit different but it's usually really good. The cucumber and cream cheese sandwiches are delicious! The place is super fancy but it's an everyone fits in kind of place. I've been there in jeans/ regular tshirts, and fancy dresses with a tiara and never once felt out of place. The staff seems happy to be there, which makes the atmosphere very inviting. The kids love the bubble tea with edible glitter! My favorite hot tea is chocolate rum, I love the peach one iced.
My only concern is if someone in your party has an allergy ask them to plate their food separate. My friend has an almond allergy and even though they didn't have her food touching the almond cake they still had it on the top tray with everyone else's. She ended up having a light reaction.

Kid-friendliness: What kid doesn't love a tea party?! If your kid is old enough to know not to throw a cup they will be thrilled to have a fancy tea time. They have a decent selection of herbal teas to choose from. My teenages love this place.

Quite possibly my favorite shop EVER. Fabulous owners and delightful staff. Best tea selection in an hour's drive. The food (which is almost all house made from scratch) is incredibly delicious and unique! I'd say there's nothing lackluster or regrettably dull about this establishment. ABSOLUTELY recommend that you give it a try! I've yet to meet anyone who didn't have a wonderful time at Apothica Teas! Did I mention that there's real clotted cream and lemon curd for their fresh English scones???

This was my first time visiting Michigan and the highlight of my trip was visiting this Apothecary. The owner is very knowledgeable and insanely welcoming. My brother and I asked her for recommendations for our parents and she knew the perfect pairing and even gave us free black licorice honey. I ordered 3 different flavors of bagged tea and they're all delicious! If I ever come back I already know what my first stop will be.

I was beyond delighted with every aspect of my first visit. As someone who lived in England and appreciates proper tea, this is a treasured find and one of my new favorite places after one visit. The owner and staff are beyond delightful. The food is amazing! Literally the best scone I've had on this continent. Real clotted cream is legit. The atmosphere is chill and fun. My words don't do it justice, you got to check it out for yourself.

Vegetarian options: Everything on the menu is clearly labeled and there are plenty of vegetarian options. Menu rotates so hard to say the specifics, but check the website.

Dietary restrictions: When you reserve online, there is a specific place to indicate dietary restrictions and allergies and they go out of their way to accommodate. Everything is made specifically for your table.

The atmosphere is so peaceful and welcoming. The food and teas are delightful and the staff are the nicest you are likely to meet anywhere. The owner was effervescent and wonderful. Liv, our server was exceptional. I can't recommend strongly enough to visit this amazing place and hope you are fortunate enough to have Liv serve you. Well worth the hour drive to get there for us.
