My oldest friend and I have dedicated Apothica Teas as the place to celebrate each of our birthdays with Afternoon Tea because it truly is that special. Laura, the owner, is almost always on site, making sure that everyone is taken care of and has a wonderful experience, while her staff are personable, helpful, knowledgeable and kind.
The incredible bakers/chefs create the most spectacular foods with forward-thinking flavor profiles. They are always challenging themselves to provide the most distinguished foodie an experience he/she won't forget.
The teas are delicious and abundant, with multiple pots served if desired - and the triple-layer display of food, from finger sandwiches and mini hot savories to scones and incredible pastries, it is never a disappointment. Come out and support this local business whenever you're able.

Amazing local tea shop with the best scratch-made kitchen. Had lunch on this visit with a friend. Baked brie was out of this world! Took scones home for Sunday breakfast! Delicious!

I have ordered your tea a few times. It is the best tasting tea. Question!! I received a shipment several days ago. Yesterday I received an empty envelope. Do you happen to know why.

Apothica Tea was very pleasant. It has a wonderful atmosphere. Almost every table is near shelves decorated in different themes. Trellises decorated with vines and a water feature enhance the vibe. There is another room that has a pleasant more informal sitting area near a decorative fireplace. There is also a shelf filled with games and many tables available for players.
The food was excellent and served in a timely manner. There was an extremely large selection of tea. We were encouraged to look around and choose our tea cup from the many beautifully displayed. The tea ordered delightfully smelled like a rose.
Service was good. The only fallback was that when we asked the server to explain what some particular dishes were made of, she incorrectly described them. This could be a problem if anyone had food sensitivities. Overall, I highly recommend Apothica Teas and look forward to returning again.

I was strolling down Main Street and saw a cozy looking tea store. I crossed my fingers hoping they’d have something for me to grab for dinner as it was getting late and I was hungry. I walked into another time and place. The Proprietoress was something out of a favorite story book. She has created a truly magical place I’ve never experienced at any other venue. She is compassionate, empathetic and a fellow book worm. She has clearly put great thought into every detail of this establishment including the rose or thorn choices. Selecting a seat that “made me comfortable” and a cup of that “made me smile” felt very much like a Harry Potter Sorting Hat experience. All of this, and I haven’t even mentioned how delectable the apricot chicken salad luncheon plate (available at dinner) was. The starter and dessert change seasonally, which I absolutely love! How fun it is to enjoy a chef’s choice surprise. I’m terribly sad that 6 hours away or this would be a daily haunt. This is a little spot of sunshine a tiny piece of paradise. I couldn’t be more grateful for the way I passed my Friday evening. They may have to physically push me out of here - it’s past closing time!

Had a very lovely experience. The people who worked there and the locals were all very nice and welcoming. Gave great tea selections and I got to pick out my tea cup for tea. The coffee cake was delicious.

This place is awesome! Stopped in while my fiancee and i were on a day trip, and we loved it! The atmosphere is very cute and welcomeing! The staff was nothing but lovely, and we also loved our food! Everything we had to eat and drink was wonderful. The price of what we got was very reasonable as well. I left feeling like i wished that this place was close to my home! I would spend my time here all the time if i could! It seems like a gem for small events, or even just to relax and read while you enjoy. Truely a lovely place. I am so glad we stopped in. Thank you all so much!!

I finally had the opportunity to stop this past weekend. I have been to Niles a few times, but have always just missed the open hours. OH MAN. The NICEST people that I have ever met run this place. As a person who struggles with personal interactions, I didn't leave here feeling awkward like I normally do. I didn't feel out of place or unwelcome. I picked up one of your frozen Bangers and Mash (thank you for having something gluten free!) meals that I am hoarding in my freezer for a day that I could really use feeling as happy as I did at Apothica. Between the teas, food, books, handmade goods, and absolutely stellar people- I am dreaming about coming back. I hope everyone there realizes just how big of an impact their kindness has on people. Thank you so so so much for everything. 💕

We had a bridal shower in one of the upstairs party rooms. The server who helped us was very sweet and helpful! If I didn’t live half a state away I would definitely use them again to host a small gathering!

Beautiful place and idea but the people working there treat us really bad, it was really evident the service they give us with the other people in the place. they threw the thing to us and also didn't bring the hole order. I don't know if it was racims but completely disappointed.

I come here just about every week, and everyone is always amazing. The atmosphere is comfortable and absolutely stunning for someone coming in for the first-time. They always have smaller artists selling things inside and their seasonal tea is always phenomenal.

If you don't know what to get for tea, there is always staff picks! (Though I, personally, would highly reccomend the Carmel Chai, Silk Road, or Pumpkin Marshmallow when it comes around during fall time.)
Just a wonderful place, and a beautiful little gem that I highly reccomend visiting at least once.
