Cool little Italian bakery. Excellent food.
My Crème Brûlée Latte with 1/2 sugar was perfect to start off my Saturday morning. The Lemon Cream Blueberry Croissant and Almond & Butter Pastry were very light, exceedingly crisp, not overly sweet and enough for 4 people to enjoy later in the day. Absolutely scrumptious! J-

We both got sandwiches and chips with a drink. I had turkey apple bacon and he had grilled cheese. They were both good but mine was better. They put some kind of dressing on the chips, like a creamy Italian, and parmesan cheese. I didn't realize they did that until I started eating the chips. It was a good addition. The place isn't necessarily cheap but it's still worth going there. They had pastries that I'd like to check out on my next visit.

I truly love this place. It’s the only cafe I go to love the food and I love the coffee ( usually I don’t drink coffee) I go here to read. Very relaxing and a nice place to meet up with friends!

Our first visit to this hidden gem. I had black coffee with my cake and it was smooth! Very delicious pastries and cakes. We will be back.

Nice coffee shop with Italian sweets and tasty sandwiches. Decor was great and inviting. The only drawback was the metal chairs since it was pretty cold when we visited. In general is a cool place to eat and have a conversation.

The pastries were good but they seem like they were pre-bought and not made in the store. We got seven pastries to go and it cost us over $50. A bit over priced, for my liking. We won’t be back.

Got two sandwiches for lunch. Didn't want fast food. $24. One slice of ham with no taste cheese, lettuce that looked 6 days past its prime and one slice small tomato. American Italian had 5 slices thin meat and 2 thin cheese. No lettuce, tomato or condiments. Just a pinky nail size of what I think they think is giardiniera. Never again. This place is waaaay to $$$$ for what you get. And there's no reason. Subway serves a better sandwich for 1/2 the price.Even the pastries, which are gorgeous, aren't that tasty and $$$$ I don't get it. Heck. Even the Italian delis in Chicago (Bari and Vinnies) serve a bigger sandwich than this for less money.I'm just really dissatisfied. At least the chips are good.
