Permanently closed and we are heart broken. This Italian restaurant has been a staple for over 50 years. There were three Frucci brothers who owned competing restaurants in Niles and Pete’s was the last to close. Arrivederci Pete’s Patio.
Tried petes patio for the first time today, and was super impressed. They have great drink options and a good menu with typical bar food BUT they also have a Chinese food special that's off the menu (its honestly the best chinese food I've ever had, and I'm picky af). Also the prices were super low compared to everywhere else. The owner June is the cutest most sweetest women ever! She walked us threw all their drinks and the menu, she was a gem ? We will definitely be new regulars and look forward to seeing June again.
Cute friendly old time bar and grill. Great pizza!
Very good food cozy atmosphere excellent service
Pete’s is a local establishment that has some incredible unexpected menu items. First off is there a perch. Ever since pats pub in Mishawaka and/or Phil Schmidt’s closed in Hammond, you can’t find great perch in the area. Definitely the pan fried version is outstanding. People that serve lake perch deep-fried should be exiled. Lol Also the Logalbo special (which is a garlic shrimp with mushrooms on linguine ) is fantastic. Mark’s special pizza is also great. They know how to do thin crust right. Not sure if they do it anymore, but they used to have homemade sausage that was off the hook. I avoid the steaks (3/5), but the Italian pasta specials are always good. Service is usually fairly good, post-Covid there’s a lot of waitress turn around, which is typical. But they’re always friendly and welcoming.
Pizza is the best I've ever had. Consistent. Hospitable service staff. Nice folks in kitchen. Always a pleasant dining experience.
Pizza was excellent and wait staff was so professional and efficient, as well as friendly and cheery despite being very busy.
I'm picky about pizza... Moved this way from southwest Chicago suburbs sooooo.... I only first discovered Pete's Patio after living out here nine and a half years(in Elkhart) and after trying every pizza place I could find I've just been driving back to Chicago suburbs to get pizzas and bring them back home I don't have to anymore Pete's Patio has an absolutely perfect Pizza... And awesome service...Every bit of it is done just right... We had other meals served as well and I'll say that every bit of this place is real food and homemade with the heart of the old country just the way I grew up... Love this place
I enjoyed the pizza it was crispy on the bottom. The sauce was very good too. Great service.
The best pizza around. Had a great time with my brother tonight. Stacy was a great bartender and server! Brother Todd and I will be back. Thank you,Donna Dasse

Amazing food and service as always. I have never had a better pizza than the "Mark Curtis"
This is a place to go if you want to step back in time and enjoy delicious traditional food, and service. The owners have intentionally preserved the decor, recipes and service details (no computers, waitresses use paper slips) of this community gem that has been operating for so long. We had pizza and salad, and it is the best pizza I have ever had - thin crust, herbs, fresh vegetables. It is the style of pizza I had when I visited Florence. If you want a slick modernized dining experience, this is not your place. If you want delicious food full of heart and history, it will deliver.
Wanted to support them on the first night opening up after awhile so we ordered take out.Our order was Chicken Parm and Buter garlic cheese linguine and garlic bread with cheese. Was served a chicken patty with sauce and cheese but a baked potato (which was awful)When I called back to ask about the missing spaghetti....(who serves chicken parm without spaghetti??)Was told they don't even have potatoes tonight as if I was lying......how old was that potato??????Had to call back another time to ask for the manager and was met with more skepticism.Disappointed, I hate to write a negative review of a place I've been eating at since the 80's but it is what it is.Bon Appétit
Best pizza you can get anywhere!
I have not been here in years. The food was excellent. I had the pan fried perch and it was the best that I have had. Staff was lots of fun.
