We arrived shortly after their posted opening time. The door was locked. We walked away and a woman rushed to open the door then walked back to the store. She said nothing. We came in and apologized for coming in so early. She responded with a grunt. We got some bread, paid, and left. The woman never said a word, just looked as though we were inconveniencing her by our existence. The bread was slightly under proved. Also slightly under baked. Most Great Harvest stores have great service and products. Not this one.

I am here for the bread and this is the best I have ever had. A regular store bought brand of bread weighs about 1lb, my loaf came in at 2.26lbs, a very dense bread. Awesome crust with plenty of air pockets and a very yeasty flavor with a unbelievable mouth feel. The final finish looks beautiful on the table. Not sure about use for sandwiches, but stuff like toast or eating plain with olive oil is heaven. The price was fair for what you are receiving. It is worth the trip even though this location is a little inconvenient, I walked in with zero wait after being used to a 20min wait at Kroger to get a loaf of their fresh bread. The company has a long history and uses healthy ingredients and processes such as unprocessed white flour. It's too bad I went this long before finding this gem. I am a new customer but will be a regular one.

Every time I walk into Great Harvest, I want to buy one of everything. Always smells so good. The bread is delicious. Our favorite is cinnamon chip. We also love their pizza rolls. Employees are always kind and welcoming. Love the free samples and trying new flavors, though they tend to cause me to add an additional loaf onto my order. I always walk in there intending to buy a loaf or two and always walk out with more.

Just wish they would have more of the apple bread every time I go they're always out and I was there at 1:00

This place is very expensive and the bread is okay, not great. A loaf of the Cheddar Garlic Bread is $10.95 and it doesn't have a ton of cheddar nor does it have a strong garlic flavor. I've found better cheese bread for less at Holiday Market in Canton and East Detroit Bakery on the other side of town in Eastpointe has some of the best cheese jalapeño bread in the metro area. Even Zingermann's in Ann Arbor, although expensive, offers better artisanal quality bread for around the same price. After buying such an expensive loaf here, it motivated me to bake my own cheese bread at home which turned out more delicious and at only a fraction of the price.

Honestly was a little disappointed by the quality of the sourdough. Was t quite up to my expectations as a home baker. The staff does not seem to be hardcore bread people like I have seen in bakeries before. Ambiance is very cozy and cute.

Read some interesting recent reviews and had to leave one myself! I absolutely adore this place. I've been in Northville for a few years now, but this is our go to place for fun varieties of bread and desserts. The staff has always been welcoming to me and my only downside is whenever I don't place an order early enough for the cheddar garlic bread!!! Haha.I highly recommend this place to anyone. The smell as you walk in is satisfying enough.

This place has gone downhill to the point where I can't even believe it. Employees are incredibly rude they act like we are so lucky to have them. Zero sanitation practices between touching food, money, face, HAIR, counter, anything. AVOID.

I wanted to try a sample, but after asking for one, the employe went right from mopping the floor to reaching for the tissue paper to get my sample. I told him "no thanks" and as I was leaving, he went to the sink at that time.

Excellent bakery!! Pizza roll was very flavorful and filling. Cinnamon pull apart were delicious. Great coffee, and atmosphere was homey and nice. We will return. We love to go to bakeries in Michigan. The breads are always so amazing, we don't get bread like this in NC, such a treat!!!
