This place is my family’s go-to. The staff are friendly, the food is great, and the service is always good. We visited on my sister’s birthday, and they even prepared a small surprise for her. Thanks for making the day extra special!

Same as regular kimchi box but it has the set menu which allows you to do table top barbecue on your own

Amazing experience and great vibes. The food was delicious and the servers were really helpful. It was my first time at a Korean BBQ place and they explained how everything worked and were very friendly.

Food, service are fabulous 👌
One thing.
Concern about gas smell.
While I cook, I can smell gas leaking, and make me little dizzy.

Safety concern.. but overall very good. 😀

Kimchi Box Plus is a self-service Korean BBQ-style spot where you order from a tablet and the raw ingredients are brought out for you to cook at your table. It's an interesting concept with plenty of potential, but unfortunately, the execution falls short especially for the price you're paying.

Expect a long wait if you order any prepared food items they typically arrive toward the end of your meal, which can feel disjointed if you were hoping to eat everything together. Asking for rice? Brace yourself you might get a dirty look, and it’ll take about 10 minutes to arrive, which is baffling considering it’s a staple side.

The food itself is good and fresh, which helps make up for some of the chaos. But service is minimal and disorganized. Don’t expect much attention from staff unless it’s time to settle the bill.

Speaking of the bill, there’s a hidden 1.5% fee added it’s not clearly disclosed anywhere and only becomes visible if you ask for a printed receipt. To top it off, the tip screen is aggressively presented, starting at 18% and going up to 25% a bit much when you’re cooking your own food and doing most of the work yourself.

Kimchi Box Plus could be a standout if they ironed out the service quirks, improved transparency, and aligned the experience with the prices they charge. Right now, it’s a bit of a letdown.

Great food! The staff was so helpful and was able to answer any questions and give suggestions on what to try. I will definitely be going back.

Food and service are great. The reason for the low rating is simple; the place is called Kimchi box, yet there are about 3 items on the menu that include kimchi. It is not complimentary and must be ordered as a side. The last time I ordered kimchi carry out, it was forgotten. Either make kimchi complimentary to any order, change your name, or enjoy the low rating.

Rude to delivery drivers. They have a restroom for customers but won’t let drivers who are delivering for them use the restrooms.

Food is amazing. Genuinely phenomenal, my only thing is I do pickup orders mostly and i always feel so damn weird walking in here, no one talks to me the vibe is always so off and unwelcoming. sitting in is mildly better because they kind of have to come up to you but I think about it every time I leave. Maybe I need to be more forward?

Korean food. Very healthy. Great experience compared to Black Rock. Bibimbap is a dish everyone will like. The grilling on table is great, unlike Black Rock, you won't come out smelling like grilled steak. Here they have great smoke ventilation system. Meat is very good high quality. Korean fries, vegetable dumplings, combo platter is great. Great area with lots of other shops. Easy freeway access. Service can be more friendly.

This was mine and my families first time trying Korean BBQ and it was a great experience. The server was so great, she was very enthusiastic when explaining how to order, cook and eat the items from their menu. We got Combo B, crazy rice, pork noodles, popcorn chicken, and fried dumplings, this was more than enough for 5 people and we have leftover to take home. The ambience was very nice, overall very satisfied and we will definitely be back.

The food was good, but the service was awful. Staff was on their phones at empty tables, and one even took a personal call behind the bar. We had to track down a server for water refills and straws, and they forgot our appetizer, which was still on the bill when we got it. Disappointing experience overall.

I went in for lunch and got the lunch combo. It was a ton of food and so delicious! Definitely a spot I’d come back to.
