I've had the please of eating here a few times in the past couple years. The owner of this place really stood out to me for his excellent service. He really went the extra mile taking care of us, and providing excellent food. Everything was fresh, high-quality, and the atmosphere was great. I enjoy coming here, and will be visiting more in the future.

The portions were on the small side, but the food was good.. There were pickles on my chicken when I asked for no pickles. We had to ask for pita bread and extra water. The server was very nice.
Our experience at Le George exceeded all expectations! We were greeted and seated by the gracious owner. Our server was kind and attentive. The food was perfect. We enjoyed the beef and chicken shawarma and it was perfect!

Can you believe a five star review? Yes, you absolutely can. The food was incredible. And Jorge was absolutely lovely.. We shared the grape leaves spinach starlets appetizers. We also ordered the lamb chops in the Kafka. Hands down the best cup I’ve ever had and I ordered it quite often at restaurants.

Food is really good but it's very expensive for not much of it. The dinners don't come with any salad or vegetables. Just meat and some rice. We wouldn't go back.
Have been wanting to go to Le George for a very long time and finally had an opportunity when I went with my family for my birthday. It was midweek and the weather was not great, so things were slower than usual in Northville. George greeted us at the door and we had our choice of tables. We started outside on the porch and ordered wine and appetizers (Hummus and Kibbe). Not only was it slow downtown, but we were early, and we had George's undivided attention. It started raining and we braved it for awhile, but then moved inside to finish our meal. The food was awesome, Kafta, Beef Shawarma, and Lamb Chops, but the best part of the evening was meeting George. He was working the floor, the bar, and cleaning up. His wife (believe it was his wife), was doing the prep and cooking. Just the two of them working the place and it was the best meal I've ever had in Northville.
P.S. If you do go, try the Knefe for desert. I'd never heard of it, but I'll never forget it.

I recently dined here with my family, and the food was incredible! The vegetarian grape leaves were delicious, and the baklava and kanefeh were amazing. The owner was so nice and made sure we were well taken care of. I definitely recommend coming here!

Absolutely delicious Mediterranean meal. Tastes just like my aunts would make! The grape leaves were delicious. Service was fantastic!
Food is SO GOOD. Would recommend to EVERYONE. Owner is so sweet, best service I’ve had in a while!!! Will be coming back!
It ‘s time to retire. The food is bla. No atmosphere. It was a bad experience. We were the only people there.
If you’re looking for good lamb or good shawarma, this is the first place you should go! A true mom and pop shop with amazing food and the best wine selection! Located right in the middle of downtown Northville this place will leave you well fed and happy! Great for date night!
VEGAN REVIEWTIME EXPRESS:
Okay, first thing! George is one of the nicest dudes. He came over and talked to us and it was great. He is the best thing about this restaurant.
It was kinda funny, at first he was like “we don’t like to stay late in Tuesdays!” Then he was like “hey… it’s alright, let’s talk for a bit. Again, nice, but maybe a little confusing.
Now for the real deal! The food: nah. Maybe I’ve just eaten at too many Mediterranean places in the Detroit area but this place just doesn’t hit. We had the Fattoush Salad and the Mujadara. These were very different than what I’m used to. The mujadara didn’t have any of those crispy onions and the serving size was small especially compared to the price. The whole thing was very disappointing.
Lastly, this place definitely has a nice vibe. If I were into wine or something this could be a good place to hangout with a few friends. Sadly I’m not. However, I wish George the best!
