I don’t have a problem with the food or staff, my issue is with the pricing to proportion size. The small side proportions should be criminal. It seems like the prices have gone up from what I remember. 36 dollars for two combos is crazy. One lean brisket and pulled pork combo will run you 36 dollars and change.Just ridiculous.
The first time here, I wanted to try this place because of the smoked spareribs. I thought this was a restaurant that had waitresses, but it was a stand-in line order your food and take it on a tray to a table. So I was a little disappointed 😞. The food was just OK. So if you don't mind this kind of restaurant this is the place for you. That is why I gave it 3 out of 5 stars, not my kind of restaurant. We have enjoyed this restaurant and visit often. Today however our experience wasn't as good. I had pulled chicken and cheesy potatoes. Both were not as hot as I could wish and frankly tasted as if they were leftovers from the day before. (We were there around 12:30 on a Sunday). My husband had a pulled pork sandwich and fries. He was told that they would bring his fries out. About 15 minutes later the fries still had not been brought, so he went up and asked about them....
