Service and atmosphere are great. The food however wasn’t as I expected it to be. The fruit is very bland and lacks flavor. It’s frozen fruit not fresh with granola that also has no taste to it. The whole bowl was bland with a hint of Nutella. Not what I expected with such high reviews. Great service and great location but I have had way better and made from fresh fruits 🍉 🍌 the day before I tried coco shack in Dearborn and hands-down is the best flavorful fresh produce!!! I was in the area so I figured I’d stop by and give this place a try. I ended up not finishing my bowl by the way the portions are very small. Left just to go back to Dearborn to get Coco shack, which exceeded my expectations as usual. Full of flavor, large portions, fresh fruit and excellent service with a great price point!
Also, I would like to add on that this was just my opinion as everyone has a right to review. I find it very unprofessional. This restaurant went out of their way to accuse me of having Covid in their response to this review because their bowls have zero flavor in them!!!
Very unprofessional and distasteful response to a review, accusing a customer of having Covid because their produce did not exceed my expectations. No, I do not have Covid. I am a nurse by the way I would know because I get tested as well. Might I say what a nasty response to a genuine experience….. I’m sorry I even gave this place my money!

Was driven to come here by my teen age daughter. On this first visit of mine, I found out why Playa Bowls is popular with young people. The place looks hip, those collectible stickers, and the quality of the fruit/smoothie mix was great. A bit on the expensive side.
