There is something special about Tuscan Café that feels like pure Downtown Northville.
Whether you’re stopping in for a morning coffee, meeting a client, or catching up with friends, it just feels right. The atmosphere is relaxed but vibrant. The staff is consistently friendly. And the coffee is always on point.
What I appreciate most is how Tuscan brings people together. You’ll see neighbors running into each other, business conversations happening in the corner, families grabbing a table by the window. It’s one of those places that quietly becomes part of your routine.
We’re lucky to have a spot like this in Northville. If you haven’t been in recently, you’re missing out.
Five stars all day.

Literally the most scamming café ever I ordered a vegetable sandwich and then when she told me my amount, it’s like I ordered an entire meal with A drink And a side They charged me $16 for a vegetable sandwich that is insanity. I will never come back to this place again.

I absolutely love the atmosphere at Tuscan! It has a modern, urban vibe, yet it still feels warm and cozy. The coffee is excellent, and the selection is great – whether it’s hot drinks, specialty beverages, or food.
The staff is friendly and attentive, which makes the experience even better. As a little souvenir, I even bought a beautiful Tuscan mug!

Love this place! They recently moved to a bigger place and they did a wonderful job. Plenty of places o sit- inside and outside. They now have an area in the back with a nice patio to sit as well. The coffee and food is amazing! The staff and owners are really nice

Food was good, service was good, the prices are outrageous! Two sandwiches, one small diet drink, and one bag of chips, a little over $40 dollars.

Absolutely LOVED the Tuscan Cafe in Northville! The service was outstanding, the atmosphere was upbeat, & festive and the food was excellent! Savory sandwiches with Zingerman's bread, and delicious salads, sides, & dessert. So fresh! The efficient, kind & caring staff went the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed. Can't wait to go back soon!

Food is good but very overpriced. Also, service is very slow. No urgency in getting food out even when they’re not busy.
4.5 stars. Good sandwiches. Ive been here half a dozen times. My favorite is the corned beef and coleslaw. The pickles are meh. Not crispy, or remarkable in any way. Cute season themed cookies. Service was slow last week on Friday. Waited 20 minutes for my sandwich at lunchtime. It wasn't full, though there were people here and there. No wait for seats. It's counter service and there was no line at 12:15 pm when I ordered. Warm atmosphere, great location downtown. A little pricey. $15+ for just a sandwich.

This was my 2nd bad experience at Tuscan, and also my last time. Expensive, bad service, and honestly just not worth the price. First time was last year, and I got a matcha, not much has improved as I can tell. Though a matcha in downtown northville might’ve been a shot in the dark in general. The customer service needs to improve, it’s almost like they make me feel guilty for asking “Can I please get a latte”. Workers should really smile more, god forbid I ask for a DRINK at a cafe. I’m not expecting them to be super duper friendly and bubbly but atleast be polite? I’m sure that’s the least you can do being in the service industry. I went back up to the counter because my drink was look warm. An elder barista man finished checking someone out, was standing for a minute at the counter, wasn’t even acknowledged by any of the baristas. He just stood in front of me didn’t say anything, asked him if I could get my drink a bit hotter, it was still full. He plopped it in the microwave. For how expensive the drinks are at Tuscan, you would think they would use their very expensive espresso machine and steam wand instead of a microwave.
Honestly I was immediately met with bad vibes all around. If you care about feeling welcomed and comfortable in a cafe, I recommend the other cafes that are close by. BUT if you only care about good drinks, I would also recommend the other close by cafes. Last time im spending $18 on a sandwich, actually I would if it were worth the $18🫠
