There aren't a whole lot of places to eat in Norway so we went to DQ. What a total disappointment. First of all when I drove up the garbage container was so full of trash you couldn't get one more thing in it and it was 12 30 lunch time. The last time 2 months ago it looked tge same.
Sitting in the dining room trying to eat and fruit flies are flying all around our table. Gross. Then when we came to throw our garbage away in the refuse container all kinds of fruit flies came flying out of it. Clearly that hadn't been emptied in days. Perhaps health authorities need to have a phone call made to them. Pure laziness on the employees behalf in not taking the trash out daily. Disgusting! Where is management? Who holds them accountable. Can't see them staying In business much longer under those circumstances. Sad and disappointed.

Literally just had the worst experience I've ever had at a dairy Queen at this dairy Queen. We came around closing time and we're told they were only serving ice cream that was fine. We then got up to the window paid and were told that the ice cream machine had already been shut off and it would take 10 minutes to get our ice cream. We were offered a refund so we said yes. The cashier was then unable to issue the refund so he just gave us 20 bucks cash even though our order was 20 bucks and some change. He also took forever trying to figure out how to refund us. He also rushed my husband to order saying he was about to turn off the lights.

Don’t go to Dairy Queen very often been a few years because in our town or Dairy Queen is terrible. Decided to stop at this one in Norway when passing through today I’m glad we did. Everything was quick and easy and was good and great service and friendly workers.

Burgers were horrible. Dry and stiff. Cook didn't have hair back and was hanging down . And please pay attention to the people that you hire!!! Do not hire people that you don't want to have waiting on you. Oh the ice cream was good and fries.

The lady behind the counter was way backed up, but she found the time to take out food out to our table.

Went thru the drive thru. A small shake and a small Blizzard was $10.05. I know they are all expensive now, but that was some sticker shock.

This place lacks management would be my only guess, it's unfortunate as Norway, MI is stupid limited on dining options and DQ at this location always did a fine job as I can remember. But the last year or so it's been ROUGH.

IDC about waiting, IDC about writing a complaint about pricing as that's kinda out of their control. But what does matter is the quality of food, accuracy of orders, and sanitary environment.

These three areas are significantly struggling at the Norway location. I've tried several times to see if it was just a one time issue but after 8 or so attempts at ordering from this location over the last year each time was lacking.

Food burnt, food sloppily prepared, front desk area rather filthy at times, and orders filled inaccurately. But the last time I ordered? Yeah it was terrifying and made me say my god what happens in that kitchen must be left to the imagination for ones own sanity.

Pictures show;

Hair found in burger, pulled out and set on side of packaging by customer.

Stock from head of lettuce included on the burger

Chicken sandwich absolutely torched a long with onion rings.

Chocolate shakes with significant dumpage on lid and sides.

As the owner of Engman's Haven House in Kingsford, I try to support local businesses. And I usually have a good experience at this Dairy Queen. Sometimes they get my order not completely right, but they do ok. The food is good, the desserts are the best, the prices are not as good as they used to be. Overall not a bad place to eat.
