I ordered two dinner combinations from here. First combination was hunan chicken which had no spice to it and the second combination was kung pao chicken and had no spice or taste. Everything was nasty. My dinner combination had 90% of vegatables and 10% of chicken. I had hunan and kung pao chicken before and it had spice to it. Waste of money and I will never order again from this place.

They are now selling sushi I tried the spicy tuna and it was delicious 😋😋

Spent 60.00 on shrimp fried rice, mixed vegetables, noodles and shrimp, 2 egg rolls, steamed dumplings. Was terribly sick the next day. Will never order here again.

We have tried lots of Chinese food in our area and this is the best we’ve had.
We got carry out on a Saturday night. General Taos chicken was a huge portion with large meaty chicken. The crab Rangoons were large and the best we’ve found. The dumplings were large as well and juicy. We were very pleased with our meal and we have lots of leftovers to enjoy. Food was made quickly and arrived hot. We hopefully finally found our new go to Chinese spot.

I’ve only ever ordered delivery from here so I can’t speak for atmosphere, but it is always fresh and DELISH! My husband and I have been looking for a good Chinese place to add to the rotation and this is it. Their curry could be spicier (though we are the crazies that buy it in the big bags so for “normal” people it’s probably fine.) They have great prices, their veggies are fresh, and they are consistent. Plus they give you a lot so it is good for leftovers. OH! Make sure you get the doughnuts too. They’re outta this world.

Vegetarian options: The vegetable fried rice has a variety of veggies, and while beef and broccoli isn’t vegetarian, it had HUGE stalks of broccoli, so I’m sure their vegetarian dishes will as well.

Disappointing Experience and Under New Management.
As a loyal customer of China City for over 20 years, I am disheartened to share my recent negative experience. The restaurant is now under new management, and the quality of the food has drastically declined. The coconut shrimp, once my favorite dish, was a huge disappointment, and the flavor was not at all what I have come to expect from this establishment.

Furthermore, the new management refused to acknowledge the changes when I raised my concerns, insisting that nothing was different. It's also worth noting that there are now several signs around the restaurant stating 'no refunds,' which should have been my first clue that things had taken a turn for the worse.

Sadly, I will no longer be returning to China City. It's unfortunate that a once-beloved restaurant has fallen so short of its former standards. I hope the management takes customer feedback seriously and considers improvements to restore the quality and service that long-time patrons have come to appreciate.

The food use to be so flavored, now it's like eating hospital food, save your money, and if you want good Chinese food, order from Golden bowl on West six Mile....Facts!
