Great food and customer service

Guess what? The salmon croquettes are real and delicious. I really enjoyed the food and the service was pleasant and efficient. When I visit again, I will return to dine here at Coolidge Cafe. Coolidge and Nine Mile.

My gram loves this place, and I finally decided to give them a shot. I have never been disappointed, and they serve TURKEY BACON!!! However, the elderly woman that is there in the morning now is the rudest person serving I have ever met. Coughing and arguing with me about cleaning her hands beforetouching MY food is outrageous. It's me and you, and the phlegm I heard in your throat from that cough wasn't make-believe. The fact she had an attitude about cleansing her hands prior to bagging my carryout has me concerned about what she does when serving dine-in.

I got Salmon Croquettes and eggs with cheese, I was half way done eating my food and realized there was a piece of hair from the lady the works at the desk. Also the man was very rude when I brought up the piece of hair then he laughed and called me a clown.

Tried this restaurant with my brother today, for the first and last time. We were told we could sit anywhere we liked, so we sat and waited a while. No one came up to our table for close to 10 minutes. Finally, as I was getting ready to tell my brother I think we should leave, someone set waters down for us. Then we waited some more. I overheard the man behind the counter asking the servers if anyone was going to take our table, when the girl who ended up being our server said she was going to but she was waiting on something for another table. She had walked by us several times and never greeted us, or let us know she would be right with us. Finally, the guy behind the counter came over and took our order. When the food came out, my brothers bacon was cooked so much it was dry as a bone. I tried a slice and it made my jaw hurt. They also put my eggs on his plate and his eggs on my plate. There was no butter on the toast. It was dry as a bone. I was never offered a refill on my coffee. I don’t think this is the spot for me…

The Coolidge Cafe is a nice local neighborhood diner in Oak Park, Michigan. It provides all of your traditional diner foods and a host of non-traditional cuisine as well.

I recently tried their corned beef melt and it was really delicious. The price was right and the portion was fairly generous. The service was friendly and very efficient. I'll be back again to try other items on their menu.

Food was hot and tasted good with a hearty portion. Sad they did not have a variance in potato options.

Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp however you will need help opening the doors to enter.

First-time customer, and I was very impressed with the cleanliness when we first came into this establishment! Second, our server promptly took our order. There was a lagg on the food being brought out far as ... items coming to our table but still having to wait on other items. The orders should be coming out together for that table, not sporadically. The food was delicious once we received everything.

Very disappointed. Ordered two omelettes and they were both pretty bad. Overly dense, more like an overcooked quiche than an omelette. The hashbrowns were ok but lacked seasoning. It’s sad when the texas toast is the best part of $30.
