Davison Coney Island

Davison Coney Island has been serving great coneys' in Oak Park at 9 mile and Coolidge for at least 45 years. My friends from school still eat there and Sam (the owner) used to be an employee there. Lots of locals eat there. Good food and good conversation with a smile.

Can't believe this restaurant isn't packed from open to close. The space itself may not be the cleanest or most updated but the food is something to come back for even for myself who lives over an hour away. Staff isn't the most excited or uppity but I promise you that you will get solid service and great food to support it. Stopped in here on a whim today. Glad that I did! I'm a sandwich snob... and I just had the BEST chicken club I've had in a long time. Perfect chicken. Good rye. Crispy Bacon. Homemade ranch. Came with fries.. for under 10$!!
