It smelled so bad in the lobby area!! I had to cover my nose the whole time I waited to pickup. The smell of the food filled my car with that same bad smell on the drive home I had to leave my windows down overnight to air it out. Pretty much didn't have an appetite after that. The little bit of food I ate tasted fine, but not quite like how I remember from years ago. The servings were very large and more than expected.
The employees were absolutely fantastic so friendly and welcoming with excellent customer service skills. The food was amazing! I had the miso ramen and an egg roll, and both were incredible. The ramen was flavorful and comforting, and the egg roll was so fresh, crispy, and delicious. Truly one of the best I’ve had! Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to again and again.
The Golden Bowl is a Chinese very popular restaurant that has been around for many years. Since Covid, it has become only a carryout. It used to be a great family dining in & carryout restaurant. It was always like a good old-fashioned Chinese restaurant where you could order a meal that comes with everything such as the soup, egg roll, a bowl of fried wonton pieces to munch on, rice, main course, delicious rolls & dessert all for a very reasonable price.
