I visited Michigan after 11 years , surprised to see how empty the city of Detroit and some other suburbs look. But the food at La Marra is excellent . We ordered Shawarma, Shata kafta entree, Fattoush, Tabouli, Hummus and my most favorite Mediterranean smoothies which cannot be found anywhere.

Everyone is so nice even the owner, food is always fresh and delicious . The bread is the bomb not those cold pita bread either , I would def only go to this place when I’m in the area ❤️

I’ve eaten at a lot of places. Rarely care to leave a review. But I just got a mango smoothie that was fantastic but the meat schwarma (pause) is the best schwarma i’ve had in the area. I’m not going anywhere else anymore.

The bread is a key part of the mid east experience and this place has that! Most places are good with the chicken and meat but here they also good with the sides. Will be coming back for sure
I was shocked when they gave a Fattoush salad with day old bread instead of The proper bread chips. They look to save a penny. so i can only imagine how cheap the Quality of their food must be. The reason you don’t use Day old bread is as soon ad dressing it gets soggy.
