Papa's Pizza & BBQ - Oak Park

Down here for a doctors appointment tomorrow morning, staying at the guest house at Henry Ford Hospital, we were looking for a pizza place we don’t have up in the U.P., the delivery driver was very kind, and was delivered very fast! Food was delicious!

Sent my husband to pickup a pizza, he had a visa debit giftcard for 25.00 to pay for the pizza, which was declined, they told my husband for insufficient funds, fowhich he didn't argue with him, so he just paid with his own credit card. The total bill on his credit card was only 20.92, but they didn't tell him, was they put a charge for a tip of 4.18 which would of made it 25.10. So that's why it was declined. I called the credit card company and thats how I found out, they never informed my husband of the tip charge. So I called up to papa's pizza to ask why they didn't inform my husband and Tony the person who answered the phone was so ruled arguing with me telling me they don't charge tips. I'm telling him what the lady at the credit card company told me, I couldn't make it up I'm just relaying what she said. He so rude I hade to hang up on him. I even asked for the Mgr he told me he wouldn't be in until Monday.
I will never go to this pizza place again. Bad customer service shame on Tony...... this was a pickup order...

I ordered BBQ chicken pizza, dough was super doughy.. I called and told them. They told me they would make me another one. New pizza was done in 10 minutes. Went to bite into a slice and two of the pizzas were still very doughy and did not taste the best. Called them back and told them that it was still doughy. My mom took the pizza back and asked for a refund or something else. They said “ No, we are not giving a refund and we can’t make you another pizza” my mom asked to speak to the manager and he stated “ I am the manager, I can’t do anything for you”. Informed them we will be calling corporate.
Do not eat here if you want good food or good service! They are not about pleasing their customers at all.

This is ….THE BEST PIZZA IN TOWN!!!! My weekly favorite is the Chicken Mediterranean pizza no tomatoes lol but y’all that pizza is slapping ??

This Papas location (Oak Park) quality of food has gone down tremendously. The pizza bread is extremely thick - no one wants to eat a loaf of bread. The pizzas aren’t made like they were a year or so ago. It’s like they continue to decline in quality. I was a faithful customer. Not anymore. Pizza is dry and all. You have to specify exactly how you want it made (extra sauce so it’s not dry, thin crust so it’s not thick) and when you do they still don’t make it right. Waste of $20. Not sure if it’s new cooks or just too costly to make quality food.
