I wish they sell the place back to the original owner the new owner he is bringing it down to the ground everybody in oak Park is talking about it, he using cheap ingredients is not the same no more, the slices don't be cheesy and meeting no more. He don't have the original menu, you can't buy fish and chips or nothing. If you notice he been down for 3 weeks, he's not making no profit like that. to the person who own primo's now, if you readinf this message. Get back the quality cheese that we used to have, don't make the slices look like it really have nothing on it. The last two owners they had it before you, they kept everything the same. Primo's lines used to stay long, you barely have customers now, you should never bought the business, if you wasn't going to do it right.

I on e worked there many years ago. What happened? Too bright! Next premade salads and they don't look great. No slices ready, it's 8pm on a Friday. No sticks ready! Waiting 10+ mins for slices. I'm watching people waiting for over an hour for their orders... My memories are broken! I would not recommend getting anything from this place. What a bad experience!! If I could give zero stars this would be it. Very disappointed ?.

Let me just start by saying I normally do not do reviews. I have been coming to this Primos for many years along with many family and friends that often order from here. I know there has been a few transitions between ownership recently and that has showcased through their business entirely. Since the previous owner, me along with many other people were waiting to have the original Primos brought back to its former glory and be one of the best pizza places around. I have ordered from here multiple times and my findings of this establishment are quite off in a sense. While the staff is very friendly and accommodates to our needs, the inconsistency of the overall quality and presentation of the establishment is what brings this place down. I recently ordered earlier in the week and noticed that my usual order was quite different as the cheese from the pizza seemed to be a downgrade and the salad was a bit different from usual. I thought nothing of it, thinking that it must have been one of those days there. I then made another order the other day and was greeted by the same problem as before. It does not appear to be the people making these orders making it a problem as other customers have nothing but nice things to say, leaving it to be the overall quality to be changing. Whether it is from cutting costs on certain items or constantly changing recipes, this is not the original Primos way. It fills me with great sorrow that this once great pizza place is slowly coming down to its last. They are always low on refreshments and seem to barely put in effort with the place as it is the same thing every single time. If they want to continue this business and make it much better as it was before, perhaps they should consider taking more affirmative action or change ownership to someone that would be willing to raise this such low standard and make this place great again. Looking forward to hopefully a change soon and hoping that someone can lead this business into the right direction instead of driving away business.

I love the breadsticks. The pizza is also very good. However, I ordered a square, they gave me a round. It was good just the same. I didn’t feel like complaining about the shape of my pizza. I will order again. I missed Primo’s when they were closed.

Used to be the best pizza place around. Recently, every single order I've made has been wrong. They leave toppings off and still charge for then. Just not paying attention.

Placed my order online and they literally got everything wrong on my pizza. Asking for 4 toppings and ended up with about 10 that I didnt even want. After taking off the unwanted toppings I put my pizza back in the oven to re-cook. Chicken wings tasted bad and looked like boneless wings with bones in them. I grew up on Primos and If you're looking for the real primos , that old primos taste and experience..this isn't it at all. It's not even close.

I haven’t been to Primo’s in awhile and wanted to try it since they’ve reopened under new ownership. Food definitely does not taste good like it use to. The sauce container opened in my box of food so there was bbq spilled all over the inside of my carry out box. I then complained and the employee mentioned that the containers aren’t that great and gave me more bbq sauce in a bag. The containers of bbq then busted in the bag. The wing dings were awful and they couldn’t even tell me how many came in the order.

Recently visited this pizza place that I remembered eating here when I was a teenager. It used to be so good. I have no idea what has happened and how do you mess up pizza! This was the worst experience ever. I had family visiting from out of town. First of all, rude customer service, no greeting and the lady had a dry attitude. I placed an order for pepperoni pizza and I got a cheese pizza! Disgusting! I can make a better pizza at home. Wings look terrible and taste awful. Breadsticks were big and dry.So disappointed with them. I will never visit again.

Very, big disappointment, and it hurts to leave such a bad review. I much rather prefer to promote local small businesses, but this deserves to be called out.I called around 5pm on Mother’s Day to order dinner, and no one answered. The call went to voicemail and said they were busy, and the outgoing message recommended ordering online due to higher than average call volumes. So I ordered and paid in full online, but when I arrived to pick up our order they were closed! I was not the only person standing at the door wondering what was going on…Both Google and their website said they were open.

Primos used to have my wife’s and my favorite pizza and chicken in the area, when the pandemic hit and they shut down we just counted days till they reopened. Sadly they changed recipes, the pizza lost much of what made it so great now it’s just another pizza, but the toppings are mediocre. The fried chicken with the corn meal crust is sub par and tastes like they added Tabasco sauce to it (many people can’t stand the taste or even smell of Tabasco). Sadly my wife and I decided yesterday is the last time we’ll be ordering from them.

Very excellent experience! I was recommended the square meat lovers and I couldn’t be happier! The crust was crisp on the outside while fluffy on the inside. The toppings and sauce were top quality and presented perfectly with flavor in each bite. I’m looking forward to ordering again and trying the bread sticks with garlic sauce!

Okay so this place is great. The pizza is simple but delicious, an extra large cheese with pep. Shows up steaming hot, go in for the first slice and I'm feeling like I've seen this pie before. That's it, it's a real life version of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles pie, with the cheese that strings for days but in like a good gooey way. Eating this pizza was so much fun and tasted great. Shout out to the polite staff who helped when I called because the GrubHub app went sideways. Shout-out to my GrubHub driver who didn't mess around. Everyone played their part and knew the drill, great success and a great night. Definitely doing this again soon.

I was near oak park and good things about the reopening of the Original Primos. I got a carry out of a Large pizza w/pepperoni & mushrooms , a dozen breadsticks and some broasted chicken. Well I gotta say, this place hits it out of the park. The people of Oak Park are lucky. The phone was ringing off the hook when I walked in. Food was amazing. I’ll be back and will definitely have them cater my sons graduation party.
