Lahey's Pub is a local favorite -- great people serving creative cocktails and the vibe is laid-back and relaxed. Laura, Jamil and the rest of the gang are always welcoming. Grab some pizza or a salad from Portage Point Pizzeria and Cafe' with an ice-cold beer from Lahey's Pub and relax on the porch. Beautiful Portage Lake makes for an amazing view! It doesn't get any better than that.
After having a pleasant prolonged stroll with a friend out to the beach area on a scalding hot day, we headed to get some ice cream, and before departing, I wanted to rehydrate, so I noticed the smallish bar-looking spot and extrapolated that I'd proceed there as there wasn't anyone else frankly there which for an introvert it was excellent as it was just the two bar gentlewomen. There isn't enough space to sing the praises of the venue. Not only is it absolutely beautiful, Jamil was incredible to work with. He was so attentive and responsive to any questions or concerns we had leading right up to the day. He made my daughter's wedding exactly what she always dreamed it would be.
