Onekama is a very small beach adjacent community. There are very few options in town. We drove up to try Sweet Vibes from Manistee. It's a nice spot with a large park across the street. Indoor and Outdoor seating on site. They also serve food. Recommend if you're staying nearby.

We ordered two medium twists on cones - mine was generous , hubby’s was much smaller! We should’ve gotten $.99 change, but we were given 2 quarters, two nickles and a dime! Too frustrated to go back.

Had the Detroit Dog- All beef hotdog, chilli , fresh red onions and (hold)mustard. Very delicious with the fresh chopped onions. ??

Had their Bacon Cheeseburger, mozzarella sticks and Chocolate Milkshake. The milkshake was great, the burger was strongly seasoned, and the mozzarella sticks hit the spot.
The food was pretty good overall. The BBQ hot dog was very good. The portion size of the French fries was big. The mac and cheese seemed like basic kraft mac and cheese, but that was fine with our kid. The ice cream was great and servings were giant! But the best thing about this place was the employees. They all seemed to be really enjoying themselves and had big smiles while serving us. That doesn't happen very often these days, and was definitely noticed by us.

Best ice cream place ever. The staff are super nice and they give you ginormous servings for just a single scoop. I would recommend getting the kiddie scoops if you don’t want a huge amount of ice cream.
