We had our wedding day dinner at The Glenwood and I can’t say enough about how special they made the evening. It was a very intimate celebration, just five of us, and they set us up in a cozy private room that felt warm, welcoming, and perfect for the occasion. The hospitality was truly 200 out of 100. Every detail was handled with care, and the staff made us feel like we were the only people in the world that night. I honestly wish we had a place like this down South…nothing compares. The ambiance was elegant but comfortable, and the attention to the little things really hit home. From the lighting to the table settings to the way the service flowed, everything just felt thoughtful and intentional. Shout out to our server, Arden (or Aden, I'm terrible with names!), who was absolutely wonderful the entire evening. And a heartfelt thank you to the hostess who saw our note about it being a wedding dinner and treated us with such warmth and care. it felt like she genuinely celebrated with us. The food was incredible. Every course was delicious, but my favorite part? The dessert tray! They bring out a full tray of beautiful (fake) desserts so you can see and choose exactly what you’re in the mood for. Such a fun and charming touch. The Glenwood made our first dinner as a married couple feel intimate, joyful, and unforgettable. We’ll never forget it.
Such a casual but classy place! Definitely make reservations. We had excellent service and great food. Crab cakes and loaded potato wedges, the woodland salad, the whitefish special, and peanut butter pie- all 10/10! The dessert tray they bring to the table is a nice touch.
Not perfect, but close. A fine dining experience. Excellent service
This restaurant was beyond amazing! I was a little nervous when we first pulled in because I was a little unsure if we were in the right place, as it looks just like an old house. Well it’s beautiful when you walk in, very inviting wonderful staff, and the food…..well the food is literally to die for!
Recommend the Crab Cakes, Potato Skins(and I am not a fan of potato skins), the ribeye dinner, and the Dirty Martini was amazing as well!
It was our first visit to Glenwood, and we absolutely loved it. In an incredible atmosphere, the service was impeccable, and the food was mouth watering. That homemade feeling as it was made from scratch. Will be going back. Thank you for a great experience.
A unique and special experience. A must try

Hands down one of our favorite places. The location, the service, the food are all equally amazing and all of it together creates an experience that we make a point to experience at least once during their open season every year. Definitely make a reservation and if you can score a table on the coveted screened in front porch you will not be disappointed by the view of the lake.. Treat yourself to The Glenwood...

I have been coming to this restaurant once a year for years and as years go by the quality of service has always been top knotch, but the food....well....
Both my son and I were excited to get one of the specials, whitefish Rockefeller. We both love oysters Rockefeller, but to be disappointed was an understatement.
The fish was super dry with a ton of bones still in it and the "Rockefeller" was bland and also dry. For the price I would have thought more attention could have been paid, but......
This was our last year coming to that area and I certainly didn't get the send off I was looking for,
(neither did my son).
