Archey's were great hosts for our VFW Group from Kentucky. We had dinner there and came back for breakfast.
The only recommendation we could suggest is that they learn how to make Sweet tea for us Southerners. LOL
Seriously, we thank them and we will recommend other VFW Posts who come to the National Home, go visit Archey's.
Took a neighbor to Archey's Bar & Grill for his birthday ? he ordered the olive burger with sweet potato fries, and I ordered the wet burrito. I must admit, looking at that olive burger & fries had me drooling!? Of course mine was good, huge...made for 2 filling meals. The service was quick, pleasant and definitely will be back!
This is the type of place where you walk into and everyone turns and stares at you. If you want a warm welcome from a friendly staff member, you won't get it here. Did my waitress know her job? Absolutely. Was she nice and helpful? Absolutely not.We came for the fish fry but did not see it advertised anywhere.
