Great place to stop in for some good BBQ and great Strawberry Shortcake! Every time I am in this area, I have to to stop here. The BBQ Sandwich is really good. They put plenty of meat on it, so it can be a bit messy to try to pick it up. But nothing my fork and knife can’t handle. The Mac and Cheese is great too. Very cheesy! Cornbread is wonderfully sweet. My favorite is the Strawberry Shortcake! It is delicious!! I will make a quick stop just for this alone.Parking: Parking lot is gravel.

Stopped by at 2pm on a Saturday afternoon hoping to order Hillbilly fries and bunch of other things. Was told the fryer was down for cleaning so he had nothing from the fryer. We have been here a million times and have always been waited on by the owner. She would be so sad to know that as he closed the window on was he told us to go to McDonald's.. I am writing this because I am also a small business owner and I would really be angered if my employee treated my customers like that..Food has always been amazing but this time we left without anything because he didn't even suggest anything, just shut the window on us... And we drove here from Lansing...

We stopped while out on a bike ride one day an I was not disappointed. Had a nice area to sit an enjoy our meal of ribs an baked beans an Mac n cheese. Will definitely be stopping again. Amazing food an even more amazing staff. We even had a nice little walk to the haunted house being set up next door to stretch our legs.
