Hamburger was way over cooked and service was slow.

Food was really good! Our waitress was awesome! It's pretty dated inside, but most things are in the area. It was nice and quiet with a beautiful view.

I’m shocked by the poor reviews of this restaurant. We were there a few weeks ago and ate there two evenings. It was delicious!! We are super picky and found the food to be very fresh and most importantly HOMEMADE. No GFS garbage here so if that’s what you’re used to, you will be disappointed. We tried the Brussels sprouts, jalapeño cheese curds, chicken fingers, Lumberjack chicken, truffle fries, and smoked salmon crostini. I’m craving it thinking about it right now. If we lived closer, we’d be there all the time! The waitresses were wonderful and sweet also. You’re on vacation, don’t be in a hurry and enjoy that awesome view!!

We were just the 2nd group..of 2...in the restaurant...we received the menus after the waitress brought food to the first party .Then we were taken care of ..my husband was satisfied with his chicken Alfredo...but they didn't let him know it cost extra for chicken...
My Raviola was good.

Pretty nice place as part of the Americ inn hotel with delicious fried chicken sandwich and absolutely amazing fries! The menu did say that my meal came with soup and salad bar but then I never got it so there must have been a little miscommunication but overall a great experience. Another note: as you can imagine, the prices are a bit high but you get big portions. Could have had music in the background but not the most important.

The food was ok. There is a salad bar that has just the essentials and the soup was good tonight. Our service was slow. The atmosphere is like the 80s with paper placemats, but it's a nice view of the lake.

I was rather disappointed. I was staying in Ontonagon and drove a bit out of the way because I was craving a steak. There were LOTS of items not available on the menu. The grilled shrimp I had were mighty tasty, but the cocktail sauce was solid and gelatinous. I sat on a dark corner of the outdated bar. Still paid full price for a meal that was supposed to include a soup or salad. Those weren't available either! Sorry I came on a bad night.

The food was good, but this review is about our server Crystal. That lady was busting her butt! She was the the only server so she was clearly overwhelmed but she killed it! Crystal works very hard, and I hope her company appreciates her!

We also got there after the kitchen was open but before the dining room was, and were able to eat our dinner at some picnic tables right down by the lake

Just what you'd expect from a small dinner like restaurant. The food is basic but good. It's handy after a long day. The service is top notch.
