We had to wait a long time for service. They weren't busy but said that they were short staffed. I'm not sure what was wrong with the margaritas but they didn't taste right.I did like the quesabirria and would go back for them, if they had a decent margarita.Vegetarian options: There were quite a few vegetarian options on the menu.

Nicely remodeled decor. Slow inaccurate order. 2 dishes came a slow but reasonable time. One of them had a mistake. The 3rd came after another wait and it was wrong. They took it back and in a little while it came back unchanged. They took it a 3rd time and after awhile it came back correct. Too bad. We liked this place previously. My wife hated her salad.

Friends and family have been eating here at least once a week for years. New owner/chef Felipe has made many noticeable menu improvements and food is better than ever. Homemade salsa is chunky and flavorful and chicken/beef marinades are super tasty.Looking forward to building renovations - larger outdoor patio and expanded bar coming soon. Reasonable prices and large portions too. Great job!

The place was under renovations when me and my girlfriend ate there but the food and the service was outstanding. Would definitely recommend this place!

They are working to improve the building and atmosphere of the restaurant which is already cute and clean. Food was pretty good, but took a long time to come out, and it came out in spurts. Service was slow, they weren't super busy for a Saturday night, but they seemed short staffed. Everyone was friendly, and we will try it again.

My guest and I visited 03-20-2023 around 7pm. We were greeted right as we walked in the door - I believe the gentleman was the owner. Very friendly and welcoming. We received the same kind of welcome from Nyshara our server whom took care of us. The house lime margarita, on the rocks, was simple, classic and perfect - so good!. I had the Chori Pollo - this is my favorite. The atmosphere is comfortable and relaxed. Nyshara had a fun sense of humor, and was so efficient. Management...someone tell her, thanks for being so awesome. We had a nice dinner and looking forward to coming back. You got a good thing going here.Great service...Great food..All the best to you!

Food was ok we finished eating about 8pm they close at 10. On a taco Tuesday (bartender w braids kept coming by with the broom and dust pan and whacking the booth behind where we were sitting and sweeping into our eating area. So rude. If they didn’t want us in there they should’ve said so we came in two hours before they closed. The chorizo tasted like it was on its way out. There are quite a few hundred new employees in the area. Word travels fast. Thanks for the hospitality?

I usually rate a Mexican style restaurant based on their salsa and margaritas. Both are perfection here. Generous portions and excellent value for the price. The atmosphere is diner friendly. The music isn't too loud and the staff is friendly.

Very good food, low prices, appears to be family run. I’ll take this over the poor service and over billing we experienced at Sagebrush every day and twice on Sunday!

This place is the best Mexican restaurant in Lake Orion. Anyone who eats at the other two places in town, is paying too much and missing out on authentic mexican food, served by friendly staff that make you feel like family. Hands down the best Mexican restaurant in Lake Orion MI.❤??

One of those places you go to and it’s empty and you wonder why you get the food and you realize why that’s the case

People rave about this place in the Lake Orion Chat Room. No idea why. They claim it’s “authentic Mexican food” … suburban people are weird.First, they change their name frequently. Everyone boasts, “same owners, they just changed their name to X” like it’s normal. Obviously not just a fun thing to do, it costs money, what are we hiding here?Anyways, walked in and we were seated. There was a dead fly on the table and it was dusty. Ok, I cleaned the table up myself. Whatever. The menu was nothing exciting. Ordered. I used the restroom, the stall was out of TP. How hard is it to make sure you have TP? Sat back down at the table. Noticed a spiderweb up above our heads in the middle of the table with a tiny little spider moving around right as our meal arrived.Let’s talk food…. The house salsa was mostly tomato and cilantro flavor. The meal with shrimp was so overdone it was tough to chew. I asked for something to be removed from my plate due to allergies, guess what was front and center on my plate? Had two sodas, one was heavy syrup so much that we had 2 sips and were done and the other was barely any and tasted like soda water.Service was ok. Not great, and towards the end of our meal we were ignored. However the server had been around shortly before we were done to offer boxes, but then didn’t come back for another 15 minutes of us sitting there. Server brings the check eventually, as the card was already in hand, and walks away saying that they can take it up when ready.I honestly can’t think of one positive thing about this experience. I was so hopefully considering the other options for “Mexican” in town aren’t the best either. This one instantly is at the bottom of that list though.
