Confusing. The pizzeria is located within a restaurant called Johnny Black's. The only identification was in an alley. I entered the restaurant through a back service door. They need to put something on the front door even if just a small bumper sticker identifying that you're at the right place.

Before I get into the facility, food and parking review let me start by saying, we plugged it into the gps, arrived to where its supposed to be but it has a different name on the door, kinda confusing no signage indicating prohibition pizza, we had to ask the bartender.
I went around noon on a business day, it wasn't packed and we were able to sit wherever we wanted. There was 3 of os guys, so we were hungry, plus I knew leftovers would be my dinner. We ordered a Large Detroit Supreme and some cheese bread. The bread sticks were great, super cheesy and came with 2 sauces (marinara and ranch). We didnt wait very long at all before rhe pizza arrived shortly later, it was good, not great and certainly not bad. Restroom was clean n tidy. Plenty of parking.

It's very hit and miss with the delivery, and honestly with the pizza. One time it's great the next time it's so-so. Delivery is not good. I was promised it by 6:12pm. It finally arrived at 6:55pm. I think I am done with Prohibition.
So if you’re Google mapping Prohibition Pizza, and you only see Johnny Black’s Public House, it the same thing. Very confusing if you’re looking for the pizza place and all you see is “Public House” on the outside.

If I knew this was actually Johnny blacks I would not have ordered take out And yep just like always bad at least you are on distant. Wife ordered tavern burger no chips in the order.pizza we I guess you named it prohibition pizza cause onion, sauce, pepperoni and green pepper were scarce during the prohibition. This place just plain sucks. Shut it down you don't care about quality.
This is my third online order is messed up. Completely missing items and when you call to ask totally clueless help. I will not order from here again to many pizzas out there.

Pizza isn’t bad, but whatever you do don’t order the anti pasto salad(16$) it is garbage and a complete waste of your hard earned money.

It took us a minute to find out how to get our pizza, but we drove around the building and found some signs that said Prohibition Pizza Parking. We just called the number on the sign, and they immediately brought it out. The pizza was warm and delicious. We recommend the Detroit Philly Pizza.

Prohibition probably has the best Detroit style pizza I’ve ever had. I live right down the street and we probably get pizza there almost once a week.Their online ordering service is occasionally wonky, but generally okI don’t really care for the atmosphere at Johnny blacks- it’s just has a generic sports bar vibe. Not bad, but nothing special or interesting.

Hands down best pizza in LO.
We grabbed some pizzas to take back to our rental and they were delicious. We loved all of them, but the Bees Knees is one of the best pizzas I've ever had and will be trying to replicate that at home until we can get back to get another one...or two!
