They use to have home made rice noodles but they don’t any more. Today is a sad day.

I LOVE this restaurant! I always enjoy the food, the service, and the cozy vibes. Today I ordered the Fried Hainanese Chicken, sweet mango sticky rice, and a Thai green tea. The chicken dish was amazingly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The sauce to dip the chicken in was tangy and sweet which I liked a lot. Even the rice was amazing! It was rice that was cooked special in ginger and other spices, so it had a subtle savory taste. The mango sticky rice and tea are always my favorite go tos and they never disappoint. Thank you Sala Thai BK for making sure I’m never hungry!

One of our goto places for thai food. So glad they were open both on xmas and new year's eve. Curry noodles are amazing!

After moving from Macomb County, I had a surprisingly hard time finding truly good Thai food in northern Oakland County. I tried three or four different places and was honestly disappointed every time—until I found this restaurant. Hands down, this is the best Thai food in northern Oakland County. It’s now my go-to spot, and I get takeout from here at least twice a month. The flavors are always spot-on, portions are great, and everything tastes fresh. The Pad Prik is my absolute favorite and never disappoints—perfectly cooked, flavorful, and delicious every single time. If you’ve been searching for great Thai food like I was, this is the place.

Went for lunch today and the resturant was full. The waitress is sooo slow. You need a new waitress that can handle a crowd or get two. Two tables walked out because of poor service.
The food was fair and my soup was hardly warm.
Used to go all the time but will not ever go back

Diner beware! This restaurant is really filthy. The floors are gross and the bathroom is full of mildew and the tile is coming up. Came in early on a Sunday hoping for some authentic Thai food and we waited an hour + before we had food. My husband’s meal was forgotten. Nothing was spiced correctly (everything was mild). And the things that were “good” were mid at best (tom yum and Kai had nothing in it but some chopped up canned mushrooms and bits of chicken - crab Rangoon wasn’t great either). Doesn’t compare to other local spots like Sy Thai, Bangkok, Lana Thai, etc. This place has likely seen better days.

My family and I went for lunch and the restaurant was empty. The owner was short staffed and managed everything well. He was taking orders, serving food, getting the table ready. The crab Rangoon was okay, not the best but not bad! The pad Thai noodles were good. The red curry was good. The restaurant is in a nice location and easy to find with enough parking spots. It's a nice place to sit and dine in.

I went in for a big bite of my food but I spotted a black hair in my food. The guy who answered the phone gave us some attitude, didn’t apologize, which isn’t good customer service after someone finds hair in their food…

Update!
We checked our other dish of food and there was a long black hair in it as well.

We ordered takeout of Pad kow, Pad kra tiem and chicken pad Thai. These dishes were hardly full, the only thing that was packed with food was the white rice! I'm very disappointed with the Pad Kra Tiem, it's beyond over flavored with garlic, I understand a garlic dish but when you literally can't taste anything but garlic was too much. It was also very very liquidly, like a water substance. The chicken pad Thai noodles were overdone and dry. The fried rice was okay, they don't offer pea pods so I substituted for broccoli. Needless to say the broccoli was old and starting to rot. The Hot soup was great though. Not a good take on Thai food I feel.

First time trying Sala. We had the Tom Yum soup which was ok...very thin colored water. The fresh rolls were beyond gross. No flavor, very raw dead texture.Yum. I mean really???

A beautiful and relaxed place to eat! The food always tastes amazing and comforting, plus the owners are so kind and engaging with the customers. My personal favorite Thai place!
